Return To Amish Abe & Rebecca Schmucker Still Married?
Viewers first met Abe and Rebecca Schmucker on TLC’s Breaking Amish when they left their homes for Rumspringa. Their mission was to explore the English world and see what life was like and if this was where they could see themselves in the long run. Or, if it was too much and they wanted to return home to the comforts of home. Many Amish teens who exit their communities cannot even go back as they become excommunicated. Abe and Rebecca got more than they bargained from out of the series as they fell in love and tied the knot in the season finale.
They went on to appear on the spinoff, Return to Amish alongside Abe’s mother, Mary Schmucker. She has been a fan favorite since day one. Eventually, the couple exited the series and have been living privately. According to In Touch Weekly, the private life works for them as they are still happily together. Furthermore, Mama Mary has come to live with them as she has colon cancer. That has been a tough blow for everyone, including the fans. Rebecca sent out a message recently, begging for prayers for Mary.

The Return to Amish matriarch has been in such pain that hospice has come in. No, she is not passing away but has dropped one hundred pounds and things are a struggle. Fans and followers have been immensely concerned and want constant updates on Mary. Her best friend has done her best to keep everyone updated on what is going on and has stayed as encouraging as possible. As for Abe and Rebecca, they celebrated twelve years together in September and now are fighting along with Mary.
Banding Together
When they both started on Breaking Amish, Abe, and Rebecca Schmucker likely doubted they would find love let alone a strong community. Fans have been checking in on them daily to see how they are and how Mary Schmucker is faring. More so, prayers are being sent and followers are asking where they can send cards and gifts. This has been a journey but one filled with love and memories. To answer the grand question, yes, Abe and Rebecca are still together and happily so.
