According to TV Insider, Tory is a corporate lawyer who is dedicated to her work. However, just before Hanukkah, Tory “finds herself unemployed and questioning the career she’s dedicated years to.”
Therefore, Tory needs a pivot. She has focused on what she thought other people wanted that she had forgotten what she wants. Moreover, she has lost all of her joy in life and she feels lost. The holiday season is a time of self-reflection and there is nothing like family to help with that.
Now, Tory has all the time in the world to help her Bubby. But, she hasn’t exactly told her family what happened.
The first thing is to embark “on a quest across Chicago to find the last box of coveted Hanukkah candles.” She serendipitously ends up at Rocky’s. This is a bar in the Old Town.
At Rocky’s, Tory meets Jay. He is a gorgeous and charming doctor from Florida, as well as his grandfather Sam. Sam is also a lot of fun. At the bar, she meets others who are quirky and fun. Soon, she finds herself rethinking what she always wanted.

When Is The Premiere Of Hanukkah On The Rocks?
The premiere of Hanukkah On The Rocks starring Stacey Farber, Daren Kagasoff, and Marc Summers is on Friday, December 13, at 8 p.m., Eastern on the Hallmark Channel.
In addition, this new Hanukkah movie will also be available to stream on Peacock up to 72 hours after the premiere.
