Omarosa Talks Going ‘Off The Rails’ On Wendy Williams Show
Wendy Williams’s daytime talk show had a lot of memorable moments. However, one of the most notorious moments came when Omarosa appeared on the show. Now, Omarosa is talking about their appearance, which she said “went off the rails,” and how she has ‘no regrets” for it.
Here is what Omarosa had to say about the appearance.
Omarosa Talks Wendy Williams’s Appearance
Omarosa was known for a long time for her appearance on The Wendy Williams Show. This was something that she said she was looking forward to, but then it all “went off the rails.”
“I was so excited to go on The Wendy Williams Show, and then the train went off the rails,” Omarosa said (via Us Weekly). The reality TV star was at the 11th Annual American Reality Television Awards earlier in November. “Even now, fans are so intrigued by that encounter. My career is attributed to the fans and them continuing to click on it. It’s now at 24 million views. It’s kind of insane, right?”
She said people still talk about it even though it was so long ago.
Omarosa was on the show in 2008 to talk about her book, titled The Bitch Switch: Knowing How to Turn It On and Off. While she said she was excited to appear on the show and respected Wendy, Omarosa made things tense. She accused Wendy of being “fake.”
“You have guests on your show and then you go on your radio show and talk smack instead of doing it while they’re sitting on the couch,” Omarosa said at the time. “I don’t have to be your type.”
Omarosa then accused Wendy of having a nose job for some reason. Wendy responded, “They say Black don’t crack. She’s cracking.” When Wendy finished the interview by saying, “Thank you for coming on my show,” she got a standing ovation from the audience.
Omarosa Remembers The Wendy Williams Interview
Omarosa is not sorry about what happened with her and Wendy Williams on the talk show. When asked by Us if she stood by what she said on the talk show, the reality TV star said, “Yes. I stand on business.”
Omarosa was on The Apprentice in its first season in 2004. After this, she made her name on reality TV. She also worked as a political aide to Donald Trump. Now, she said that she is grateful for the fans who helped her get gigs on shows like House of Villains, Celebrity Big Brother and Celebrity Apprentice.
“I’ve got a new show coming out in the spring on Hulu,” Omarosa also revealed. “Please look out for it. I can’t announce the name, but I think it’s the most exciting reality TV concept in a long time.”
