‘Monster Garage’ Jesse James’ Shocking Abuse Claims, Wife ‘Beat’ Pets
Bonnie Rotten, the estranged wife of Jesse James of Monster Garage fame, has recently filed for divorce. Both James and Rotten have filed restraining orders against each other. During this time, they have both also made claims of domestic abuse against each other.
The Monster Garage Host & Rotten Have Both Made Claims Of Domestic Abuse
James is known for hosting the Discovery Channel reality series Monster Garage. He is also known for his work on Jesse James Is a Dead Man and Jesse James: Outlaw Garage.
On Monster Garage, a group of five tries to turn a vehicle into a “monster machine. This often meant a car that could transform, such as a vehicle that could double as a doughnut shop. The expected reward is an expensive tool kit.
James has been married four times before his marriage to Rotten. Notably, he had been married to actress Sandra Bullock from 2005 to 2010.
As noted by TMZ, James filed a restraining order this past Wednesday. This had been in response to Rotten’s own divorce petition. James notably asked the court to keep Rotten 100 feet away from him and their child pending a custody hearing.
According to documents, James alleged that Rotten, whose real name is Alaina Hicks, attacked him, including trying to break his finger, a few months before they married in mid-2022. James continued to claim that similar incidents took place multiple times over the years. At one point,
James claimed Rotten poked a hole in his neck with a thumbnail. He also claimed she had broken his wrist and dislocated his thumb after an argument.
In addition to the attacks against him personally, James also alleged Rotten had ‘beat’ their cats and dogs daily. He also claimed that their son Bishop has started to mimic this behavior around their cats.
Rotten Had Previously Filed For Divorce Two Times In 2022
For her part, Rotten has also filed a temporary restraining order against James and has also made similar allegations against him. Some of her claims allege that James punched her in the throat and slapped her in the face.
Rotten also denied or downplayed some of the claims made against her. Notably, she claimed the incident in which he broke his wrist was caused by her accidentally slamming a door. In James’ account, it was caused by her kicking him.

This isn’t the first time Rotten has filed for divorce. Although she did not go through with it, she reportedly filed twice for divorce back in 2022.
In a statement with TMZ, Rotten also issued the following statement: “For the safety and well-being of our child, I will not engage in litigating this matter in the press. I trust the legal process to address these issues appropriately and respectfully ask for privacy during this time.”
