‘Kids Baking Championship’ New Season To Have Special Theme

Kids Baking Championship is about to come back with its 13th season towards the start of the new year. This time, the series will have a special theme. Another big change is also expected for the new season.
Twelve Kids Are About To Compete With A Special, New Kitchen
Kids Baking Championship is a Food Network series that sees children compete to make the week’s best dish. Prizes range from cash rewards to a feature in Food Network Magazine.
This time, the new season will come out with a special theme: animals. In fact, the season has even been subtitled Kids Baking Championship: Amazing Animals.

By the first episode, the children will enter a jungle-themed kitchen. Along for the ride are a parrot named Chicken and a cockatoo named Teva. Challenges will include creating animals texture tarts, zoo cakes, and cookie animal houses. In addition to the Food Network Magazine feature, the winner will get $25,000.
There’s Another Big Change With The New Season
However, the animal theme won’t be the only change to the series. For the previous 12 seasons, the series was hosted by Duff Goldman and Valerie Bertinelli. However, this season will see Goldman team up with Kardea Brown, the host of the Food Network series, Delicious Miss Brown.
Brown has previously served as a judge on Kids Baking Championship and Spring Baking Championship. She also served as a co-host for the show’s 2023 Thanksgiving special.

According to People, Brown also released the following statement, “Having the chance to share my love of food has been a dream come true and I am so thrilled to continue this journey with Food Network,” She continued, “I look forward to celebrating the holidays with fans and celebrating these extra special and talented bakers, big and small, and all their incredible creations.”
In addition to this, the contestant line-up has also been announced. Twelve children from the United States and Canada will compete to become the Kids Baking Champion. As noted by a Food Network press release, the contestants are Noah Azeez, Brooklyn Barrett, Ella Hayek, Aria Karayil, Piper Lowe, Micah Parsons, Pierce Sario, Carter Siporin, Ellvie Smith, Carly Van Pelt, Jack Whalen, and Arielle Yang.
The new season will come out on Monday, January 6th. The episode will be available for streaming the day after on Max. The season finale is expected to come out on March 3.
