What Time Does ‘White Lotus’ Season 3 Air On Sunday Nights On Max?

The White Lotus Returned For A Third Season Back In February
The White Lotus is a black comedy drama anthology that first came out on HBO back in 2021. Stories revolve around the guests and employees at a luxury hotel chain.
Each season is self-contained, with a dark story coming out amid the luxurious trappings. Notably, each season also films in a different location. The first, second, and third seasons were filmed in Hawaii, Sicily, and Thailand, respectively.
The White Lotus recently premiered its third season back on February 16, 2025. Series creator Mike White previously discussed the season while speaking him Time. As he noted, “I do feel like the other seasons were a rehearsal for this one. There’s stuff that I’ve never directed before.”
As the publication noted, White and his father Mel were eliminated from The Amazing Race while in Phuket. This gave filming in Thailand an element of redemption for him. As he noted, “I would’ve hated to have gone through the rest of my life having some bad association with Thailand.”
New episodes premiere live weekly on Sundays on HBO. They are also available for streaming on Max simultaneously. For example, the third season’s fourth episode aired on HBO and was available on Max on Sunday, March 9, 2025.
The Third Season Finale Is Expected To Come Out This Upcoming April
The White Lotus has been increasing its episodes each season. The first season had eight episodes, the second had seven, and the third season had eight.
With the airing of the fourth episode, there are four remaining episodes in the season. As a murder mystery plays out on the show, the season will come to an end on April 6, 2025.

In the interim, episodes will air on March 16, March 23, and March 30. As Decider noted, the March 16 and 23 episodes are titled “Full-Moon Party” and “Denials,” respectively.
As Variety noted, however, the third season won’t be the end of The White Lotus. A fourth season has already been greenlit.
This news had come out a few weeks prior to the third season’s premiere. There is hope that production can start in 2026. However, where the fourth season will be set is currently unknown. Likewise, it is unclear which cast members will return for the fourth season.
However, it was noted that White had already submitted possible pitches on what the season could be like. While an episode count hasn’t been confirmed, if patterns continue, fans could possibly expect nine episodes.
