Wendy Williams Rushed To Hospital After Note Found Asking For Help

Tv personality Wendy Williams has made headlines over the past few months over her guardianship and her life in a New York facility. Recently, Williams was rushed to a hospital in an ambulance. Notably, this came out after a note was found in which the star asked for help. This also comes out as Williams was set to make her return to daytime television.
The Former Talk Show Host Could Be Seen Dropping A Note Out Of The Window
Williams is known for hosting her namesake series, The Wendy Williams Show. However, following a diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia and aphasia, she has since been placed under a guardianship.
The former talk show host is living in an assisted living facility in New York. However, over the past few months, Williams has spoken out about her situation. Notably, this included conversations with TMZ, ABC News, and the radio podcast series, The Breakfast Club.

On Monday, Williams was reportedly taken from her New York living facility by an ambulance. Cops were reportedly called in for a wellness check.
As reported by The New York Post, Williams could be seen tossing a handwritten note out of the window. It read, “Help! Wendy!!”
A call to police came in around 11:15 AM. This took place shortly after Williams tossed the note out of the window.
Wendy Williams Was Set To Make A Television Appearance
According to the publication, at one point, Williams could be seen waving her arms at a New York Post reporter while on the phone. After this, Williams silently walked out of the assisted living facility. She could be seen escorted by cops as she was helped into an ambulance.
It was noted that this came out as Williams was scheduled to return to television for the first time since her health issues made headlines. The former TV host was set to appear on ABC’s The View on Friday. This would have been her first daytime television appearance since her leave of absence from The Wendy Williams Show four years ago.

Suzanne Bass, co-executive producer of Williams’ talk show, notably teased the planned appearance on social media. She shared, “Prepping a very special friend for her appearance @theviewabc to air this Friday. #freewendy.”
At the time, it was unclear if Williams would have been filmed for the appearance or if it would have taken place over the phone. Williams previously spoke with ABC News over her guardianship.
As the publication noted, Williams had a small victory in her fight against her guardianship. Last month, her guardian, Sabrina Morrissey told a judge she would be open to having Williams undergo a new medical evaluation. In addition to this, Williams was also recently allowed to visit her father in Florida for a two-day excursion to celebrate his birthday.
