Big changes to Million Dollar Listing L.A. Josh Altman and his wife Heather chose to leave the hit reality TV series. While things won’t be the same without them, Josh said that they knew it was time to leave.
Here is what Josh said about leaving the hit reality TV series and what convinced him and Heather that it was time to go.
Josh Altman explains Leaving Million Dollar Listing L.A.
Josh Altman said that he and his wife, Heather Altman, put a lot of thought into their decision to leave Million Dollar Listing L.A. He said that this departure had been something that has been coming for the last 24 months and they finally decided it was time to say goodbye.
“This wasn’t an overnight discussion where we just decided the night before, ‘Hey, let’s do this,’” Josh, 45, said (via Us Weekly). “This has been something that has kind of been coming up over the past 24 months.”
Josh said that he and Heather, 39, have two kids, Lexi, 7, and Ace, 5. They wanted to spend more quality time with their kids while they were young. Josh and Heather, who got married in 2017, decided it was more important to create memories with their family.
“We can always go out there and sell houses. We can always go out there and do all these things, but we’ll never get the time back when our kids are this age,” Josh said. He revealed that his kids are the main reason they chose to leave the reality TV series.
He said that there will come a time when the kids will no longer want to hang out with them.
Josh Altman Said This Was The Right Time
Josh admitted that when his kids are teenagers, they will want nothing to do with their parents anymore. He said when that time comes and their teens are doing things on their own, he and Heather can decide to go back to doing what they were doing before and start selling houses again.
Josh has been a key cast member on Million Dollar Listing, L.A., since 2004. Heather also appeared on the series, but last month, Josh said both of them were leaving. Josh said it “felt right,” and this was it. He said they started talking about it last year, but it didn’t feel right then.
“It’s been incredible, and we’re so blessed to have that stage and to have that show as part of our life up to this point,” Josh said. “But as we [decided] to start living and opening businesses in different areas and trying new things.”

They’re not doing TV anymore, but there is no way they are leaving real estate sales.
But good for them for prioritizing the kids rather than more TV money.
Wow I had no idea he was on it since 2004, have I really been watching it for 20 years? That has to be a typo but good for them, they certainly don’t need the money
