‘The Little Couple’ Jen Arnold Wants ‘Midget Mascot’ Out Of School
The Little Couple celeb, Jen Arnold, is one of the biggest advocates for little people out there. Recently, she took issue with so many schools using “midget mascots.” So, what did she have to say when it came to addressing this issue, and wanting those mascots gone?
The Little Couple: Jen Arnold Is A Big Supporter Of Little People
When it comes to some of the biggest voices fighting for little people and their rights, it doesn’t get much bigger than The Little Couple celeb, Jen Arnold. While she gained fame, along with her husband, Bill Klein, and their children, through the family TLC reality show, Jen continues to use her platform as a public figure to raise awareness about different issues.
The Little Couple may no longer be on the air, but, Jen Arnold still has a lot of followers who love to keep up with all of her comings and goings. Because she still has that platform, and because she is no longer tethered to TLC, Jen is able to bring attention to causes that are near and dear to her heart. One of those causes is using her platform to be a voice for little people everywhere.
Jen Demands An End To ‘Midget Mascots’
One of the issues that The Little Couple celeb, Jen Arnold, called out recently had to do with a petition going around to end the use of “midgets” as school mascots. This is a Change.org petition that has been going around, and one example that was included is the Dickinson Midgets, the mascot of a high school in North Dakota.
While this may seem harmless or like fun and games to some, for little people, in particular, this is something that is deeply offensive. According to the petition website, there are at least five schools around America that use “midgets” as mascots in some form. The petition calls for an end to this, and, so far, it has over 5k signatures.
The Little Couple: Jen Arnold Is An Advocate For Change
One of the big reasons why Jen Arnold is so passionate about fighting for little people and ending this kind of discrimination is because she is raising Will Klein and Zoey Klein. She wants to raise them in a world of as much acceptance as possible, because she knows first-hand what she and Bill Klein have had to go through over the years.
In this aspect, it’s not surprising that she is supporting this recent petition to end the use of “midgets” as mascots in at least five US schools across the country. With 5k signatures and counting, this petition certainly has a lot of like-minded supporters, too.

Stop with the word police! I did find out Jen is woke- and that is offensive to me. Will she change that if I get a petition?- No.
Words mean different things to different people- it’s not derogatory unless you yourself thinks it is, in which case you need to work on you and not try to once again change others…..my gosh why don’t we just toss out the entire dictionary and start over!
