‘Golden Bachelorette’ Joan Vassos Reveals Full Circle Moment

Golden Bachelorette Joan Vassos Shares Special Moment
Bachelor Nation recently caught up with Joan Vassos to talk to her about her journey as The Golden Bachelorette. It was brought up how close she is with her mom and her mother-in-law. Joan confirmed it. Plus she revealed they were supposed to be on one of her dates this season.
However, her mom, who is 92, got really sick and they just couldn’t make it work. So, seeing her mom and mother-in-law in the audience at the Men Tell All was really special to her. In her mind, it was a full-circle moment. Joan said,
“So my mom and mother-in-law were supposed to come on one of the dates during this season and my mom got sick. And I knew she was really sick because she was so looking forward to coming, and she couldn’t come. She said, ‘There’s no way I can do it’… She had pneumonia and she’s 92, so that’s rough. And so I feel like it all came full circle that they got to be here tonight and she finally got to experience it. So yeah, I loved having them. It was so special having them here.”
Joan has expressed multiple times how important her family is to her. She’s made it clear moving from Maryland is not an option for her.
Joan’s Thoughts On Long Distance Relationships
In past interviews, Golden Bachelorette Joan Vassos has shared her thoughts on long-distance relationships. She already revealed she will never sell her home in Maryland. Plus, Joan does not expect her man to sell his home wherever he lives either. She understands that at their age, most people already have roots planted and do not want to make drastic life changes.
However, she is willing to travel and spend time in another location with her chosen man. She even noted she could spend up to a month away from home to be with her new love.
She thinks being in a long-distance relationship can be fun and exciting. Joan is excited about the future and on Wednesday night everyone will see where it is she will be making frequent trips. Will it be in Nevada or Kansas?
