Devin Strader was the front-runner on Jenn Tran’s season of The Bachelorette almost from the start. He wasn’t beloved by fans, but he seemed determined to win Jenn’s heart. Jenn and Devin got engaged during the season finale, but viewers didn’t have a chance to be happy for them. Jenn revealed during the After The Final Rose special that they’d broken up.
Devin Strader became public enemy number one after Jenn Tran recounted how he completely changed after their engagement, ghosted her and then dumped her on the phone. He earned the wrath of fans after leaking private messages from his ex.

The backlash from Bachelor Nation fans for his behavior caused Devin Strader to go into hiding, at least from social media. He hasn’t been as active but just returned with a vengeance. His comment section is a mess with fans berating and mocking him. He clapped back at one comment about Jenn Tran’s rumored new relationship.
In another comment, someone wrote that dating Devin was Jenn’s “charity work.” Devin responded that he also likes to help the less fortunate. The back-and-forth continued as the Jenn supporter called Devin “angry” over being a “fat kid” when he was younger.

Many Bachelor Nation fans thought Jonathon Johnson was Jenn’s ‘the one that got away.’ The two reunited as friends after her breakup with Devin went public. Fans were heavily ‘shipping’ a relationship between Jenn and Jonathon but the focus has now shifted to Jenn and her Dancing With The Stars partner Sasha Farber.
One Bachelor Nation fan brought Johnathon Johnson into the attacks on Devin in his social media comments. The fan tagged Jonathon and asked if he was still friends with Devin. Another person replied that Devin had unfollowed Jonathon, so they “probably” weren’t friends anymore.
Devin Strader jumped in to confirm that his friendship with Jonathon Johnson was over. “Jon loves the limelight more than being a friend,” he wrote about his Bachelorette co-star. Jonathon Johnson has yet to respond to Devin’s diss.
