‘Sister Wives’ Christine Brown Admits Special Friendship With Kody
Christine Brown and Kody Brown ended their marriage in 2021. They had spent two and a half decades in a plural marriage. In a recent interview, Christine sits down with fellow ex-sister wife Janelle Brown to talk about their relationship with Kody. The pair sat down and shared all the tea about what the relationship between Christine and Kody looks like now.
Christine Confesses A Special Friendship With Kody
Christine Brown gets candid about her relationship with Kody Brown. Janelle asks “You no longer talk to Kody. When you look back at your 20+ year relationship with him, what thoughts come to mind?” Christine responds to Janelle…
“There are memories that I keep very, very special. There Were some days in our lives that I thought were beautiful, and I think It’s very important to make sure I always… No we had good times. We love to dance with each other. We loved to sing…We had a good friendship it was very very fluffy.
Christine and Kody were married for over 25 years. There would have to be some good times otherwise they never would have lasted that long. Christine and Janelle reminisced on the times when the couple would swing dance in the kitchen and how fun it was. Kody and Christine also raised 6 kids together.
The Good Times Were Not Enough For Christine
It can be difficult to lean on the good times in a marriage when everything is falling apart. Christine and Kody had a special friendship with one another but the struggles they faced in their relationship did not outweigh the negative experiences that they had together. Christine explained…
“But when things got hard It wasn’t enough. It wasn’t enough to survive the hard times and it wasn’t, um, it just wasn’t enough you know?”
Christine did mention that she can find value in the time she spent with Kody even though it was difficult at times. She explained…
But we had a lot of good times and a lot of good memories and I’m super super greatful for all of it. Because I am who I am because I was married to him. You know? I made all these choices that I made When I was married to him so super greatful for it all.”
Janelle and Kody tried to work through their differences but they ended up going their separate ways in 2021. Janelle was the first sister wife to leave Kody. Soon after their separation, Janelle Brown left Kody Brown as well. More recently Meri Brown decided to get an official release from the church to leave her marriage to Kody. The only wife still married to Kody is Robyn Brown.
