Does Kody Brown think that he outsmarted the judge by purchasing a new lavish multi-million dollar home under a trust account? The Sister Wives star has an injunction against him, barring him from moving assets. Yet, he was able to keep his OG Flagstaff home and buy a new one. So, did he play the judge and think he could win? Keep reading for more details.

Kody Brown Back With Suspicious Act

Kody Brown has a very large ego which viewers have seen on Sister Wives. He gets easily angered when he does not get his way and throws tantrums left and right. Though he has alleged he did not love his OG3 wives, he was bitter and filled with rage when they started to leave. He recently talked about how sick he felt having to marry Christine Brown Woolley. She was his third wife who he took on in 1994 out of obligation, she was Church royalty. Though he was allegedly “sick” on his wedding day, when she opted to leave in 2021, he was a broken bird.

The same applies to second wife, Janelle Brown, who he seems to still want to try to make things work. One thing that has been brought up is money. His children have said he and his fourth and only legal wife, Robyn Brown are bad with finances. They purchased their Flagstaff home for nearly $900K with help from the family. Yet, they still have Coyote Pass but no wives to live there. Janelle has noted how many pieces of art and such Robyn has so she knows they are hiding money elsewhere.

Recently, Kody and Robyn were trying to sell their Flagstaff home for $1.6 million but took it off the market. They then purchased a $2.1 million home under the White Stone Trust. Therefore, no assets can technically be claimed in the home. Kody Brown assumed he was being clever by making a trust home that would go to his children but the name, White Stone Trust is suspicious. He thought he was being smart but was he giving himself away?

Kody Tries To Outsmart Judge

When Kody Brown came up with the name White Stone Trust, it may not have meant much to the average Sister Wives fan. However, some did some digging, and a Reddit thread was started to share the deeper meaning behind it:

  • A black stone indicated a the judge favoured a guilty verdict and a white stone meant the accused was considered innocent of the charge.

Kody has consistently said that his children and wives need to be held accountable for their actions. So, is this his way of exonerating himself from any wrongdoing? Furthermore, he is involved in a lawsuit with Christine Brown Woolley. Sister Wives fans weighed in:

  • I hate to say it because K & R are awful people in my opinion but… it was smart they put the house into a trust because it protects them from losing the house with all Kody’s lawsuits. I think they are putting as much money into this so they don’t have to pay Christine (Truley) / Jenelle.

Though fans may hate them, they see this as a way to protect all they have and keep it from the other wives. Plus, the name is an attempt to further prove they are innocent, at least in their court of law:

  • Mighty bold of them to be judge, jury and executioner for themselves.

Whether or not Kody can get away with this is yet to be seen. Timelines and logistics will factor into it but he is certainly trying his hardest to protect what he and Robyn have built.

Do you think a trust house will fly when it comes to a judge and the lawsuit or will there be much more to this story? Let us know and watch Sister Wives Sundays on TLC.
