‘On Patrol: Live’ Fans Question Where Fontana Went
On Patrol: Live fans are questioning where the Fontana Police Department disappeared to after an extended absence. They have been with the hit series since Season 2 so when they vanished, viewers just wanted an answer. So, what happened to them, and is there a chance that they will return? Keep reading for more details.
On Patrol: Live Fans Question Where Fontana Went
Departments are constantly coming and going when it comes to On Patrol: Live. There are often explanations as to why this occurs. Some departments are not that big so they need all hands on deck to get the job done. Though they may be fan favorites on the show, the officers also have a main obligation to do their job, serve, and protect. This can be hard for viewers who love and adore them but this can be a cause for brief hiatuses and absences. Oftentimes, they do return and that is something to celebrate.
When Hazen leaves, it is very hard but they take the time to make videos and give thorough explanations. This is something they do not need to do but they set up a plan for when they will be back. That makes viewers feel more secure. Now, a Reddit thread has been started with the OP wondering where the Fontana Police Department went. They are out of San Bernardino County, California, and have amassed quite a following. Yet, why are they no longer on the show?
We’re excited to announce we’ll be appearing in the television documentary series On Patrol: Live starting this Friday, March 8. On Patrol: Live airs Friday & Saturday nights from 6 PM to 9 PM PST on REELZ and streams on Peacock. Tune in to @OfficialOPLive and see your Fontana… pic.twitter.com/0e7qyi4bkA

According to some On Patrol: Live followers, it seems that they have taken a break:
- Yes, they aren’t on the show, at least for now. Berkeley County has replaced them for the time being.
Someone asked why they left and another added that it was not uncommon for departments to take a breather and then come back. It seems the last weekend that they were on was the 18th of October. Then, the following weekend, Berkeley came back and that was a huge deal. Hopefully, this will just be a temporary situation for Fontana as viewers clearly like and miss them a lot.
Fontana Keeps Going On
Away from On Patrol: Live, the Fontana Police Department is keeping business as usual. They are sharing details about protecting your mail as well as sharing vital missing persons information. Furthermore, Fontana is leading the way by promoting Breast Cancer Awareness and other charitable organizations. As for Berkeley, viewers were elated to have them back on their screens:
- So happy to see Berkley back with us! Of course poor Dylan Lee gets another non English speaker. But happy he is back and a K9 now!
- Definitely great seeing Berkeley County back on #OnPatrolLive #OPLive #OPLNation I couldn’t picture the show w/o them again. They are a staple of the show, same with #RichlandCounty & #DaytonaBeach
As much as Fontana is missed and is hopefully returning sooner rather than later, Berkeley has been gone long enough. Did you wonder where Fontana went or had you not noticed their absence? Let us know in the comments below and watch On Patrol: Live Fridays and Saturdays on Reelz.
