Pink Abruptly Cancels Upcoming Shows, Why?
Pink has abruptly canceled her upcoming shows. This means fans will not get to see her perform on the days they bought tickets for. Why has she done this and will more shows be at risk with the same effects?
Pink Has Changed The Pop Genre For Good
Pink is an American singer and songwriter whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore Hart. The singer is well known for her pop songs that have been altered by the rock genre. In addition, she is well known for her strong voice which is characterized as contralto. Activism is a big part of the singer’s life and what she is known for.
Before becoming a solo artist, she was in the folk group, You+Me with Dallas Green. They released songs in 2014. Additionally, Pink’s most notable solo works are “Just Give Me A Reason,” “So What,” “Raise Your Glass,” “Just Like Fire,” and “What About Us.”
The 45-year-old has been married to American racer, Carey Hart. The couple shares two kids. Their oldest, Willow was born in 2011 and their youngest, Jameson in 2016. Like many singers, Pink has had to spend time away from her kids while performing.
Pink’s Next Few Concerts Are Facing Rescheduling
Pink is currently performing on her Summer Carnival Tour. The show began Wed, June 7th, 2023. It is set to finish on Sat, November 23rd, 2024. This is her eighth concert tour and it is worldwide. Reportedly more than $450 million has been made in the box office for the tour.
However, multiple of her upcoming shows are facing a horrible fate. On Saturday, October 19th, the singer took to her Instagram to share the devastating news with her fans. On Sunday, Pink was presumed to perform in Lincoln, Nebraska. Additionally, on Monday, she was supposed to perform in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

The “What About Us” singer wrote, “Due to reasons beyond my control, we need to postpone our next four shows in Lincoln, Sioux Falls, Milwaukee, and Des Moines.” In addition, she noted, “I’m so disappointed to share this news, but we are working on rescheduling each of these shows as soon as we can. Your tickets will still be valid.”
Then, the rock-pop queen revealed that fans will get “more info soon.” Furthermore, Pink remarked, “Thank you for your understanding. I’m looking forward to seeing you all very, very soon. Sending love and health to you all.”
Moreover, One fan comment on the post with the announcement has already gotten over 700 likes expressing, “She. Is. Worth. The. Wait. She also doesn’t cancel unless there’s a reason. Trust her. Honor her. Understand that she is a HUMAN BEING and deserves to do what she feels is right for herself, her family, and her crew. Period.”
