Justin Timberlake Says He’s Done All He Can to Make Up For DWI

It’s been quite a few months for Justin Timberlake, one of the most famous entertainers in the world. The former NSYNC star was arrested for DWI back in June. In an exclusive with People, a source close to Timberlake and his wife, Jessica Biel, talked about the impact the DWI had on their home life together. Biel, who’s known to enjoy her privacy, was allegedly quite frustrated that Timberlake’s name was in the news for a less-than-ideal reason. The main thing to be thankful for is that nobody, including Timberlake, was hurt while he was behind the wheel. Timberlake says he’s done what he can to make up for the DWI.

Justin Timberlake Has Made Up For His DWI

Timberlake has been focused on winning the support of his family back, as the source said Biel “was not happy about” his arrest. Seeing your partner put themself in a position that’s dangerous can have lasting effects on a marriage. However, both Biel and Timberlake have reached a point where “they’re both relieved that it’s in the past.” Timberlake was first arrested in June, which means it’s taken the couple multiple months to get to this point. The source says Timberlake has “done everything he can” to “make up for” the incident.

It certainly helps that the punishment for Timberlake is only a $500 fine and 25 hours of community service. If there had been jail time attached to the sentence, who knows where the couple would be. Thankfully for them both, they don’t have to worry about that. It does seem like the pair would have stayed together. The source went on to say, “They are both committed to staying married. Jess thinks he’s a wonderful dad. They’re a great team.” Both work in the entertainment industry and understand the time commitment that comes with the job. 

How Did Justin Timberlake Stay Busy Between His Arrest And Now?

One of the best things to do when facing a challenging situation like this is to stay busy. Timberlake did so, with relative ease, as he has been galavanting around the world for his Forget Tomorrow World Tour. Biel has also stayed quite busy, as she’s been extremely locked in on filming the Amazon show The Better Sister. When they’ve had the time, the pair has “been very busy working and just focus on family time when they’re off.”

Timberlake and Biel have two young children who they likely want to spend as much time as possible with. The power couple was recently in Montreal, for Timberlake’s tour, when he called out Biel for their 12th wedding anniversary. Timberlake professed:

“It’s also a very special evening for me. My wife is here tonight. And tonight is our 12-year anniversary. So be nice to her, Montreal, because she’s sharing me with all of you guys tonight. I love you, baby.”
