Ellen DeGeneres is an American comedian, actress, television host, writer, and producer. She has had quite a career that seemed to be all about her. She starred in the sitcom Ellen, which aired in 1994 and had five seasons. Additionally, she hosted the sitcom The Ellen Show from 2001-2002.

Then, she began her talk show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, in 2003, which lasted until 2022. In addition, she had her game show, Ellen’s Game of Games, and a show about her 7-year-old self, Little Ellen. She also released multiple comedy specials in the 2000s and 2010s.

Furthermore, the writer married former Australian American actress Portia de Rossiheirin in 2008. With the 15-year age gap, the pair seems to still be going strong. However, there were rumors about issues within their marriage earlier this year that were reportedly resolved.

After claims of mistreatment of guests and production teams, Ellen’s show came to an end. Furthermore, there were reports of a toxic workplace. After disappearing from the spotlight for a short period, she went back to her comedian roots and created a comedy special that aired on Netflix, Ellen DeGeneres: For Your Approval.

An insider revealed to In Touch that with the release of Ellen’s Netflix special, she is putting an end to every aspect of her career, from comedy to hosting and everything in between.

According to Forbes, Ellen revealed to her audience In Santa Rosa, California, this summer that she was “kicked out of show business for being mean.” In addition, she disclosed, “After my Netflix special, I’m done.”

Moreover, the source from In Touch revealed, “Ellen is still angry, and she’s had enough. Her final comedy special is the last time anyone will see her in the public eye. She’s given so much to others, spreading joy and laughter. Now, it’s time for Ellen to focus on herself and live away from the spotlight. After this, we will never see Ellen again!”
