‘DWTS’ Derek Hough & Wife Perform After Her Medical Emergency
Dancing With The Stars fans look forward to Derek Hough and his wife Hayley Erbert’s yearly performance. This year, the couple will take the stage during Dedication Night, which is the theme for Tuesday night’s episode. Derek and Hayley will be sticking to the theme for their own routine.
This year, the Houghs have quite a bit to be thankful for. Read on to learn about what they’ll celebrate through the power of dance this week.
Derek Hough & Hayley Erbert Celebrate Their Love & Life Together
Tuesday night is Dedication Night. All week long, the top nine couples have been working on their routines and hope to show vulnerability and emotion in the ballroom.
Judge Derek Hough and his wife Hayley Erbert will also perform.
The pair typically perform a special routine together on each season of Dancing With The Stars. Fans are still talking about their Paso Doble from Season 29. But this performance is going to be especially meaningful.
As most DWTS fans know, Hayley suffered a cranial hematoma last winter while performing on tour with Derek. Doctors performed two emergency skull surgeries on the dancer and they postponed the remainder of the tour.
With love, care, and encouragement, Hayley made a full recovery. She and Derek eventually resumed the tour together. The last year has been incredibly challenging, but they overcame it all as a team.
Naturally, Derek and Hayley Hough want to honor their love and devotion through a special routine on Dedication Night.

It’s not immediately clear what the performance will entail, but they chose “Beautiful Things (Acoustic)” by Benson Boone for the song.

This October, Hayley Erbert Hough happily celebrated her 30th birthday. She penned a beautiful post on social media, expressing gratitude and joy about her life and loved ones.
“This is 30 ✨” Hayley shared on Instagram. “As I reflect on the past decade, I am filled with so much gratitude for every experience that has shaped me. … What a beautiful, chaotic decade. I am so looking forward to these next chapters of life, love, and joy. After really looking back on the past ten years, I can’t even imagine what the next ten have in store. So cheers to this beautiful life, I’m excited for it all!”
