Lifetime Announces A Carpenter Christmas Romance
On Tuesday, Deadline reported that Sarah Drew has penned and produced a new NSFW Lifetime Christmas movie A Carpenter Romance. This stars Sasha Pieterse and Mitchell Slaggert, and is directed by the multi-talented Jake Helgren. Many fans remember Drew’s It’s A Wonderful Lifetime NSFW movie A Cowboy Christmas Romance starring Jana Kramer. That wound up being the network’s top holiday movie.
In this movie, Andrea, who is a bestselling novelist has returned home for the holidays. She winds up having a steamy fling with her ex-crush Seth, who is the local carpenter.
Sarah Drew shared in a statement that there is room in holiday movies for a super steamy romance. Therefore, she is giving the viewers what they want. “After the success of A Cowboy Christmas romance, it solidified that there is an audience hungry for Spicy Christmas romance movies.” She continued, “I am thrilled that Lifetime is supporting us in bringing a little more naughty into the nice this holiday season. I can’t wait for you all to see Sasha Pieterse and Mitchell Slaggert absolutely sizzle and shine on screen together. I could not have imagined a more perfect duo as the leads.”
This movie will be part of the It’s A Wonderful Lifetime lineup. However, the network has not announced the full schedule with premiere dates.

Sarah Drew has written and produced another NSFW Lifetime Christmas movie. This one is called A Carpenter Christmas Romance. What is it about? Novelist Andrea is writing her next novel, but fans are already protesting that they don’t want a favorite character to be killed off. Therefore, she heads to her hometown of Wildwood to hide out in her family’s farmhouse. The town has been through a major fire. But Seth, Andrea’s ex-crush, is an artisanal woodworker who is helping to rebuild the town.
Andrea still finds Seth incredibly attractive. Soon, the two work on uplifting the town. Soon, there is merriment and the Christmas spirit. Meanwhile, Andrea and Seth have a fling. Could it go the distance?
Sarah Drew Stars In The Hallmark+ Series Mistletoe Murders
Although Sarah Drew has been writing Christmas movies for Lifetime, she is starring in the highly anticipated Hallmark+ mystery series Mistletoe Murders. This series is based on the Audible Original, with Drew portraying Emily Lane. The premiere is on Thursday, October 31, on Hallmark+.
