Chrissy Teigen ‘Learns So Much’ From Husband John Legend

Chrissy Teigen expresses that she “learns so much” from her husband John Legend. Additionally, she shares how well the two work as a couple and as parents.

Chrissy Teigen is an American model and TV personality. She began modeling in 2010 when she was featured in the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. In addition, in 2014 she was in the 50th anniversary cover with Nina Agdal and Lily Aldridge. Moreover, she is the author of three cookbooks.

The 38-year-old is a mom of four. She shares all her children with her husband, John Legend who she married in 2013. Their children are Luna, Miles, Esti, and Wren. Unfortunately, the two were supposed to have another son, Jack, but he was not born due to pregnancy complications in September 2020.

Her husband John Legend was a coach on The Voice, however he left to focus on his music career. The singer has a tour and travel plans set up. He has not shut the door on returning to the series, but fans won’t see him this season.

Mom’s Do It All

On Saturday, October 5th at the ChainFEST in LA Chrissy Teigen told Us how she is preparing for the upcoming holidays. The mom expressed, “I learned that I work so hard on the meal and sometimes I do 15 different sides. I won’t do it anymore because it’s so ridiculous and people are actually overwhelmed by it.”

Additionally, the model discussed her secret to preparing all her desserts, “I recently just started getting all my desserts off Goldbelly. … I’ll put out a spread of that because after two days of cooking nonstop savory foods, all I want to do is, like, just put out good stuff for them. I don’t want to bother.”

Though she orders some food to save time, she also enjoys cooking some parts of the meal. Furthermore, the TV personality remarked, “I love doing a Christmas bark. We love Muddy Buddies. During the holidays, you also make things for their teachers and stuff.”

Then, Teigen added, “So, I follow a ton of accounts on Instagram that do like kid-friendly desserts and baking. Food Network actually post[s] a lot of amazing ones all the time. So yeah, just always something new and different.”

A Relationship That Defies The Odds

In addition to talking about her holiday, plans, Teigen disclosed how the two are still going strong. Even though they are in the media industry and they had a pregnancy loss, the pair seems stronger than ever.

Furthermore, the author remarked, “We are genuinely best friends. We like being together, we like being with each other. We have the same sense of humor. And also I learn so much from him all the time. He has a way.”

The model further gushed about her husband and all his talents. Though he is a famous artist with multiple Grammy’s to his name, she believes he could’ve had a few different careers in another life.

Moreover, she explained how he “should have been a teacher.” Also, she went on to say, “He has such an incredible way of explaining things that are complicated for me to understand in a really easy way, in a fun way… if he’s good at doing it to me, he’s great with our kids doing it. So I think we really balance each other out nicely.”

In addition, Teigen expressed, “I love arts and crafts and he loves the physical and the brainy stuff, so he’s out there playing football with them, in the pool with them, and then I do the more artsy, artsy craft stuff. So, just a good balance.”

Since her husband is so talented, she believes he could also be a chef. Though they both enjoy cooking, she said, “I think I probably have better instincts, but he can really follow directions. If I want something specific, I’ve taught him how to go online and read the reviews and be crazy about ratings and understanding the first 100 reviews and knowing the temperature changes and everything.”

Their daughter, Luna enjoys cooking, “Miles, not so much. He’s frustrating with eating. Unless I’m making, like, chocolate brownies or something, then he could be into it,” the cookbook author declared.
