Sabrina Carpenter Responds To Lip-Syncing Accusations
Sabrina Carpenter has responded to the lip-syncing accusations made about her. After just beginning her tour, some people believe she is not singing live.
Sabrina Carpenter’s Fans Have “Taste”
Sabrina Carpenter is a pop star who has recently finally been noticed and appreciated for her talent. She began her entertainment career young as an actor. However, her big break came when she got the role of Maya Hart on Girl Meets World, the spin-off to Boy Meets World.
This Disney Channel job helped her draw up some attention which made things a little easier when she began releasing music. Early fans most recall and love one of her earlier songs, “Can’t Blame A Girl For Trying.” Fans still try to get her to sing it to this day which she politely rejects as she has moved on from that stage of life.
Sabrina’s song “Nonsense” from her Emails I Can’t Send album garnered her a lot more attention than she had been getting in the past for her music. Furthermore, her new album Short n’ Sweet allowed her to get way more attention and popularity. Her songs “Espresso” and “Please Please Please” took over Tik Tok upon their release.
Fans were a little disappointed to buy the tickets for her tour before the album was released, but many took that leap of fate as she has had multiple sold-out shows. The singer took a unique approach to her Short n’ Sweet Tour with her set design, costumes, games, and commercial breaks.
After previously opening for Taylor Swift, many fans believe she got some ideas for her tour from the Eras Tour set design. Either way, fans are loving her performances.
Lip-Syncing Or Live?
A very common remark in the music industry is accusing famous singers of lip-syncing. People on social media have accused everyone from Taylor Swift to Lenny Kravitz. It seems this rising pop star is no exception.
Moreover, a TikTok video indicated that Carpenter only sings “40 percent” during the tour. This was quite a specific number and the singer does show multiple instances where she sings or asks the audience to sing. The “Coincidence” singer quickly debunked these accusations.
Furthermore, the rising pop star revealed, “I sing live every show 100 [percent]. Would you like to speak to my audio engineers?” For those who attended the show, it seems pretty obvious that the “Dumb & Poetic” singer is singing live.
With great fame, comes great criticism as it seems no one can just be good or talented. Thankfully, this singer knows how to speak her mind and make sure people know how authentic she is.
