Why Angela Murray Believes She Would’ve Won ‘Big Brother’
The intriguing premise of Big Brother has been enough to keep the show on the air for 26 seasons. Big Brother first landed on TV in 2000, and it’s been a raging hit since then. Most recently, Angela Murray charmed viewers as she competed for the $750,000 cash prize. Unfortunately for her, she didn’t make it past Week 10. Interestingly enough, Angela’s convinced she would have fully won the show had the cards been dealt differently. Here’s what she had to say about her eviction from the house.
Angela Murray’s Big Brother Eviction
Angela was edged out of the house along with Leah Peters on the 10th week. The double eviction came as a major shock to viewers of the show who were rooting for Angela to make it to the finale. The voter count simply didn’t work out in Angela’s favor, sending her back home to Utah. As per usual, she had to speak on her time in the house before officially walking away.
She sat down to hash things out in an exit interview with the show host, Julie Chen Moonves, via Gold Derby. Angela said, ”I’m a threat, Julie! They made the right choice. I would have won this show! I would have frickin’ won this show, 100%!” The reality TV star further described her time on the show with a sense of fondness saying:
“I came here to find out who the hell I am! I know who I am as a mother, a wife. I know who I am as a daughter-in-law and a friend. But I didn’t know who I was on my own. Coming here, I figured out I’ve always known who I am. I’m strong, I’m resilient, I’m a fighter, and I’m going to continue that the rest of my life! I didn’t need to come here to find that out, but I did. I’ve always had it all along. All along, Julie. I’m not a crybaby, I promise. This house just does something to you. I found friends and family in there, and I found daughters and sons.”
Angela Murray’s Life Beyond Big Brother
What’s keeping Angela busy now beyond filming Big Brother? According to her Instagram bio, she makes a living as a realtor in Utah. It reads, “Family, foodie, & Dedicated Utah Realtor.” Even though her account is set to private, it’s safe to assume she’ll return to a life of selling property throughout Utah, spending time with her family, and enjoying whatever foods she loves the most. Fans of the show who are sad to see her leave have shared their thoughts on Twitter/X:
