‘Below Deck’ Ellie Reveals If She And Aesha Are Friends Now
Below Deck Mediterranean newbie Elena “Ellie” Dubaich has been going at it with Aesha Scott all season long. Have they been able to patch things up since filming? Ellie reveals where the two of them stand today.
Are Below Deck’s Ellie & Aesha Friends?
Season 9 of Below Deck Med has been filled with back and forth moments between Aesha and Ellie. Ahead of the season finale, Ellie just gave an update on where the two crew members stand.
“Aesha and I have spoken since the season aired,” she shared. “She reached out and offered love and support amidst the midseason backlash and I will always appreciate her for that. I think she’s a wonderful person and a great friend.”
The chief stewardess hasn’t given her public post-filming thoughts on Ellie just yet.
Dubaich also weighed in on her friendship with Bri Muller. The two cast members fought over Joe Bradley during the season. In the end, neither one of them are in a relationship with him. And while the relationship between the two woman isn’t perfect, Ellie thinks they can repair the damage.
“Bri and I are open to catching up when she’s back in town and mending fences,” she said.
Below Deck Med Fans Aren’t Fond Of Ellie
Aesha and Bri weren’t the only ones getting tense over Ellie. Throughout the season fans have been getting increasingly frustrated with the stewardess and her on-screen behavior.
In a Reddit thread, viewers lashed out at her and gave their honest thoughts on her Season 9 attitude. Here are a few of the comments:
- “Ellie is beyond delusional. She said she thought she was carrying the team the entire season, uhhh your name is Aesha, no ohkay then you didn’t do that.
- “Poor Ellie thinks she’s a Lamborghini, but she’s really a Yugo.
- “She is no smart. That’s all. She defends herself in a stupid way (everything is filmed so we can see you girl).”
Ellie Has Regrets From This Season
Ellie is well aware of the public scrutiny she’s received from her debut full season. But, she’s determined to make the experience a lesson learned and promises that she’s a changed woman.
“I genuinely don’t even recognize the person I was last year when this was filmed,” Dubaich reflected. “Although there were many negatives on my part this season that I do regret, I still appreciate them for making me better.”
The reality star hasn’t announced whether she wants to return for another season. The Season 9 finale is set to premiere on Sept 23. Bravo hasn’t revealed whether the season will be getting a reunion segment.
