Bachelorette alum DeMario Jackson is facing major legal trouble. In 2022 he was accused of sexual assault on not one but two different women. The two women filed their cases against DeMario claiming sexual assault, false imprisonment and intentional infliction of emotional distress. As part of the two women’s pleas for a default against DeMario, the accusers filed declarations. Now, he’s facing a civil lawsuit in an attempt for the alleged victims to collect over $1 million. Keep reading to find out what happened and what these two women are demanding.
DeMario Jackson Sued After Alleged Sexual Assault
In Touch provided details about the allegations against Bachelorette alum DeMario Jackson. Two women came forward and claimed the assault happened. The case was filed in court in 2022. These two women did not want to use their real names so they filed as Jane Doe no. 1 and Jane Doe no. 2.
The court documents show that these two ladies are seeking over $1 million from DeMario. Each of them wants $500,000 for pain and suffering. They are also asking the courts to grant them an additional $35,000 for medical expenses, loss of earnings, and future medical expenses.
The first woman met DeMario in 2018 on a dating app. She alleges that he was initially misbehaving and she told him she was shocked. He apologized and she felt at the time he was sincere so she agreed to keep seeing him.
After that instance, things got worse. On February 16, 2018, she met up with DeMario and he was allegedly very intoxicated. She took him to her place in hopes he would sleep it off. However, while she was sleeping she woke up to him forcefully kissing her. She managed to push him off of her and reportedly told him she would not be engaging in sexual activities with him.
Jane Doe 1 said, “I could not move my arms or my head. I screamed ‘NO’ repeatedly to no avail. [DeMario] then forcefully sexually assaulted me by violently shoving his unprotected penis into my unlubricated vagina. As [DeMario] was violently thrusting himself into me, I began to cry. Once [DeMario] ejaculated, I demanded that he leave my home, to which he obliged.”
Jane Doe 2 Shared Her Story As Well
Jane Doe 2 also alleges that DeMario Jackson sexually assaulted her. She met him on Instagram in 2022. He invited her over to his place and she willingly went there. They drank wine and they kissed. Upon things getting heavier she told him she did not want to have vaginal intercourse because of her period.
Ultimately she agreed to have anal sex with DeMario. However, she alleged that things took an ugly turn. She said, “As we were having anal sex, [DeMario] forcefully sexually assaulted me by violently shoving his unprotected penis into my unlubricated vagina while my tampon remained inside me. He proceeded to vaginally rape me. My vaginal bleeding increased, and as soon as [DeMario] finished raping me, I left and drove to my friend’s home.”
She went on to say that she now suffers from permanent injury to her nervous system.
DeMario Jackson Denied The Allegations
Previously, DeMario Jackson denied the allegations. He said in a statement that he went to the police station and provided text communication that proved he did not sexually assault two white women. DeMario says the police let him freely leave.
At the time he said, “The authorities looked at all my evidence and let me, a six foot, four inches tall Black man leave that precinct without a doubt because I did no wrong. I am innocent, I did not hurt or harm those women.”
