DeMario Jackson Of ‘The Bachelorette’ Allegedly Assaulted Two Women
Fans of Bachelor in Paradise will remember DeMario Jackson’s controversial time on the show. Right from the beginning, he and Corinne Olympios got close. As usual, alcohol was flowing freely and staff there witnessing the two of them became uncomfortable with what was happening.
DeMario first came onto the scene vying for Rachel Lindsay’s heart. Rachel sent him home when his alleged girlfriend came on to tell her they’d never broken up. After the show aired Rachel and DeMario exchanged insults through online articles for a while. Corinne went looking for love after failing to win over Nick Viall on The Bachelor. She was considered the villain of the season sleeping during a rose ceremony and annoying the other women. She got sent home during week eight.
He Is No Stranger To Controversy
While at the time, the situation was a huge deal, Corinne publicly said there wasn’t a problem between herself and DeMario Jackson. The fall-out continued to follow the two for a while after the season aired. It also prompted production to look at how much alcohol they were allowing their contestants to drink. Both of them were suspended from the show after production shut down.
The two of them were allowed to address what happened at the Reunion and had moved past the incident. Now, DeMario has allegedly assaulted two women who are bringing charges against him. Read on to see what happened.
DeMario Jackson Is Being Sued By Two Women
DeMario Jackson is being charged by two women filing as Jane Doe claiming they were assaulted by the former reality star. TMZ reported they want to prove he used his status to make them trust him and knew, “exactly what he was doing.”
One woman said they met on a dating app and had a few dates before the alleged assault happened. After allowing DeMario to stay at her place after he drank too much, he told her nothing would happen. Later in the evening he allegedly forced himself on her and held her down. She stated she feared for her life.
The Second Woman Is Also Suing
DeMario Jackson is also being sued by a second woman he dated after the first. The two met on social media and he asked her out. He insisted on meeting at his place so he wouldn’t be recognized publicly. She alleged he pressured her until she gave into having sex, but wanted to stop.
She said he allegedly didn’t stop when she asked but continued to force himself on her. In addition to being sued for the sexual assault, they also are suing him for emotional distress and false imprisonment. TMZ didn’t hear back when they reached out for a comment.
