‘Below Deck’ Chef Ben Shocks Fans With Update On His Love Life
Below Deck veteran chef Ben Robinson updated fans on his personal life a little over a year after declaring himself ‘the luckiest man alive.’
Ben Robinson And Kiara Cabral Got Engaged In May 2023
Ben, who appeared in Seasons 1 through 4 of Below Deck and Seasons 1 and 4 of Below Deck Mediterranean, proposed to Kiara in May 2023.
“After a wonderful 4 year relationship with my love Kiara I decided to take the next step and propose…” wrote the chef.
“I feel like the luckiest man alive!”
Following his announcement, Ben shared in an interview that he proposed while the couple vacationed in Italy.
Given the romantic setting, he admitted Kiara saw that this could be a special moment, joking she was expecting more than “just a carbonara.”
Just 16 months later, Ben and Kiara’s relationship has taken a major turn.

Below Deck Chef Ben Robinson Announced The End Of His Engagement
On Monday, September 16, Ben took to Instagram once again, but this time with a sad update about his relationship.
Sharing a photo of himself with “Free Bird” by MOONLGHT playing in the background, Ben initially wrote that he missed being in touch with his fans and that he was ready to update them on his adventures.
“You will understand, it’s been difficult. I am no longer getting married…”
“We have decided to go our separate ways, and I think that this is the best decision for both of us,” he continued.
“I would rather not discuss the reasons behind these decisions, but I feel it’s important for me to express my circumstances.”
Ben added that he hoped the support of his “loyal followers, friends, and family ” would override any grievances. Telling his fans, “You always give me strength.”

While some fans offered support for Ben in the comments of his break-up post, others seemed thirsty for his return to the show.
