Hallmark+ Announces Premiere Of ‘Mistletoe Murders’ Starring Sarah Drew Based On Audible Original
Hallmark+ has announced the premiere date of the rebranded streaming network’s upcoming series Mistletoe Murders starring Sarah Drew. When will Sleuthers get to see the network’s first-ever Christmas mystery series?

Hallmark+ Sets Premiere Date For Mistletoe Murders Season 1
On Monday, Deadline reported that Hallmark+ set Thursday, October 31 as the premiere date for Mistletoe Murders Season 1. This six-episode season stars Sarah Drew as the Christmas-themed store owner turned sleuth, Emily Lane.
“We’re excitedly dipping our toe into the Christmas Noir space by bringing Hallmark’s cozy mystery viewers a holiday murder mystery for the first time,” Kelly Garrett the VP of Programming at Hallmark Media shared. “This deftly layered story is based on the beloved Audible Original series by Ken Cupurus and will take us deeper into who our characters are and will give the audience fun new twists and turns.”
In addition to Sarah Drew, Peter Mooney stars as the dishy Detective Sam Wilder, and Sierra Marilyn Riley as his daughter Violet. Other stars that will be part of this series include Jean Yoon, Lara Amersey, and Good Witch alum Kylee Evans and David Hewlett.
There are also three well-known Hallmark actors guest starring including Tom Cavanagh, Jake Epstein, and Steve Lund.

What Is Mistletoe Murders About?
What is this Hallmark+ film noir mystery series based on the Amazon Original Series about? Mistletoe Murders is told from Emily Lane’s point of view. She is a woman with a “big secret” who moved the small town of Fletcher’s Grove a few years ago. Emily easily blends in with the locals with her quirky 365-day-a-year Christmas store. Besides, the locals all have their own quirky secrets.
Her natural sleuthing skills and eye for detail helps her solve some local murders. But, Detective Sam Wilner who is crushing on Emily may not always be happy that she sticks her nose in danger, but is there to help load up the bad guys in the back of his car. But, he does wonder about her mysterious past.
Sarah Drew Is Thrilled About Mistletoe Murders
A month ago, Sarah Drew went to Instagram to announce that Mistletoe Murders Season 1 completed filming. Moreover, she expressed her joy over working on this Hallmark+ series. “That’s a wrap on Season 1 of Mistletoe Murders. I’m all joyed and cried out. Good lord, this was heaven. Absolute heaven. I cannot put into words – I mean – I will later – but it will be hard to put into words how magic this show is –these humans – these new forever friends – this family we’ve forged here in Toronto this summer. I can’t share more until the rest of the cast is announced and then I will be spamming you with BTS JOY! My heart is full to bursting. I don’t know how I got so lucky.”

When Does Amazon Podcast Mistletoe Murders Season 3 Premiere?
The latest Hallmark+ Mistletoe Murders series news also includes the premiere date for Season 3 of the Amazon Audible Original series. That premiere date is on Thursday, November 7. Season 2 ended with quite a cliffhanger.
Right now, Mistletoe Murders Season 1 and 2 are available to listen to with an Audible subscription. This audio series stars How I Met Your Mother star Cobie Smulders, Raymond Ablack, and an ensemble cast of characters.
