Adam J. Harrington Says Goodbye To General Hospital
Adam J. Harrington joined General Hospital as a recast John “Jagger” Cates in February. The return of the former Port Charles resident was a complete surprise to fans and to the fictional Sonny Corinthos, as well.
Now going by his first name, John Cates was back in town with a vendetta against the mobster. He wanted Sonny to pay for his crimes against his late wife, Karen. Sonny gave Karen a job at his strip club when she was underage and got her hooked on drugs. Jagger blamed him for ruining Karen’s life.
Now an FBI agent, John Cates enlisted (blackmailed) Sonny’s former right-hand man, Jason Morgan, to help take down Sonny. Jagger’s latest plan was to get to Sonny through his daughter, Kristina. However, Sonny took care of that plan by shooting Jagger dead in a tense confrontation.
Adam J. Harrington was only on GH for six months but quickly won over viewers who weren’t keen on a Jagger recast. He took to his Twitter to bid farewell to fans. The actor thanked his fans and said it was an honor to work on the daytime soap. “I will miss you all,” he wrote.

Fans Says Sonny Corinthos Is Ruining The Show
A fed up GH fan took to social media to vent about the mob violence. “Wth are these writers thinking? Who wants to see shootings on a soap when we have more than enough of that in real life? Soaps should be a fun escape,” they wrote.”
They added, “I keep tabs on the show because GH used to be soooo good, but Sonny Corinthos has become the undoing of a once-great show.”

Yes Sonny and Carly have to be in everyone else’s business. It should be called the Sonny and Carly and everyone else show. Can’t believe the writers Always have a storyline for Sonny while others do NOT. It was like that when I used to watch it. So YES
