Joey Graziadei Reveals Unexpected ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Perk

Joey Graziadei Excited For ‘Family-Friendly’ Reality Show
Joey Graziadei was rumored as part of the Dancing With The Stars cast for months. ABC finally released the official cast list earlier this week and the former Bachelor star was on it. So is his ex, Jenn Tran, who recently had a shocking end to her Bachelorette season.
The tennis pro teams up with pro dancer Jenna Johnson for Season 33 of the dance competition. Jenn is paired with Sasha Farber. Either one of them could potentially be the new Mirrorball trophy winner.
Joey and his dance partner spoke to Extra after the cast announcement. The former Bachelor joked that he’s glad to be on a “family-friendly” show after making out with multiple women during his season of the dating show.
“This is a little bit more fun and exciting to do something new, to do it with someone new and not have to have everyone see me kiss other women and deal with being [in] a relationship,” he said.
Jenna Johnson ribbed Joey a little for his previous reality show experience. ““I told him, like, ‘If you can date 32 women at one time, you can definitely do a little dance.'”
Learning to dance is actually on Joey Graziadei’s bucket list of things to do before he turns 30. Bachelor viewers got a glimpse of his moves during his date with Rachel Nance. The two went Flamenco dancing in Spain.
Unexpected Dancing With The Stars Perk
Crossing an item off his bucket list isn’t the only perk. He told Extra that the dance experience will come in handy when it’s time for his wedding to Kelsey Anderson.
The two got engaged during the Bachelor season finale earlier this year. They plan for a long engagement, but hope to marry in the next two or three years. Kelsey will no doubt be cheering her fiance on in the DWTS live studio audience.
Joey Graziadei hopes to use Jenna Johnson and her husband, fellow DWTS pro Val Chmerkovskiy, to help him and Kelsey with the first dance at their wedding.
“We’ve already talked about that. I think Val [Chmerkovskiy]’s going to teach Kelsey a little bit,” Joey said.
He added, “I’m obviously getting a lot of training here, so I think we’re going to step up our wedding dance moving forward.”
