‘Wheel Of Fortune’ All The Major Changes Coming To The Popular Game Show

Wheel Of Fortune: Ryan Seacrest

There are a lot more changes coming to Wheel Of Fortune than just Ryan Seacrest as the new host. What other changes can fans expect from the popular game show once it officially returns with new episodes?

Wheel Of Fortune: Ryan Seacrest Taking Over For Pat Sajak

The biggest and most obvious change coming to Wheel Of Fortune when the popular game show returns with new episodes is Ryan Seacrest taking the reins from Pat Sajak as the all-new host. As game show fans know, replacing a beloved and iconic host is never an easy thing, as Pat Sajak was the face of the show for more than 40 years.

Many Wheel Of Fortune fans even suspected that Pat Sajak’s daughter might be the one to take over for her dad. However, for better or worse, that gig is going to American Idol host Ryan Seacrest. Before he has even had a chance to tackle his new hosting duties officially, many game show fans are already blasting Ryan and calling him out as a bad choice for the show.

Major Changes Coming To The Popular Game Show When It Returns

When you have a show with as much history as Wheel Of Fortune has, it’s safe to say that longtime viewers are incredibly resistant to change. The way most viewers see things, they take an “if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it” approach to the fan-favorite show.

Wheel Of Fortune has a revamped set, including new lighting, additional space, and a lot of gold metal laminate. The puzzle got an update not long ago as well. These days, all Vanna White has to do is move her fingers near a lit up panel, and a letter will show up on the puzzle board.

With all these recent changes coming to Wheel Of Fortune, one thing that has not changed in over two decades is the iconic wheel. It’s such an essential part of the show. So, in this aspect, it’s not surprising that no changes were made to it.

Without question, Ryan Seacrest has some huge shoes to fill when he officially takes the Wheel Of Fortune reins on September 9. There are a lot of changes coming to this beloved game show, but, the way many fans see it, they hope not much else changes when it comes to the core identity of the game show.

In addition, Ryan Seacrest prepared for his new gig as best as he could, saying: “I studied episodes of Pat and Vanna, I read the rule book, I made flashcards of the rules.” It won’t be long now until viewers find out if all that extra studying will come in handy for Ryan Seacrest.

  1. I’m sorry but when you reach almost 70 years old, it’s time to RETIRE! Pats daughter should have replaced Vana Wight! She is employed, not the Producer. She is old as dirt, you dress her up like she is 30 something but you can’t even give her a close up shot because people would see all her wrinkles all over her face! I have been retired for at least 10 years, but you can’t work forever. I am not trying to be mean just realistic! If you are trying to run wheel as being WOKE, that would be absolutely ridiculous! Get a young woman like all the other shows.

    1. You’re being rude to Vanna White , you need to give her some respect and she’s been working very hard on that show
