Hallmark fans have waited three years since Brennan Elliott and Lacey Chabert starred in Crossword Mysteries: Riddle Me Dead to see this favorite on-screen couple in a movie.
However, in a new interview with Digital Journal, Brennan reveals that this new movie is something special. Therefore, the wait is worth it.
I think this is a different movie for Lacey and myself. It has a lot of Hallmark elements in it, and we had a lot of fun with it. I am excited for people to see it.
In this movie, they portray married lawyers Dana and Mark. But, they have never been opposing counsel until now. They are each representing one half of a high-profile couple who are reality stars. Now, they have to remember what made their relationship click. Most of all, they find out more about the other and this strengthens their bond.
Hallmark Star Talks About Working With Lacey Chabert
Lacey Chabert and Brennan Elliott have now made 10 Hallmark movies together. They are fan-favorites who always have fantastic chemistry. This is due to their enduring friendship.
We are very lucky that we’ve done 10 movies together, and they were all very different movies. I think this one is the most different of them all.
He added, “We gave it our all.” But, he had to overcome some health issues. “I remember our first two weeks of the movie, I had kidney stones so it was quite a battle.”
Hallmark Roles Are Gender Reversals
One of the reasons this new Hallmark movie His & Hers is different is due to gender reversals. In this movie, his character Mark is ready to start a family, while Dana is also ready for this.
It’s about being the best family man, parent, husband, and wife you can be.
Brennan thinks that fans will really relate to this movie. This movie is about overcoming obstacles and finding the strength to still hold on to that relationship no matter how hard things come your way.
