Wendy Williams Spotted For First Time In Over A Year
Wendy Williams was spotted for the first time in over a year at a wellness store in Newark, New Jersey. She was accompanied by her son, Kevin Hunter Jr., and looked surprisingly well. The manager of the store dished the details about her visit and how Wendy looked.
Wendy Williams Resurfaces In Newark Shop
Apparently, the former daytime talk show queen was looking healthy during her outing with her son on Sunday, August 18. It was Kevin Hunter Jr.‘s birthday and the pair looked like they’d been out shopping.
They visited an herbal supplement shop in Newark called African Bio Mineral Cell Food. Kevin and the owner of the store have been friends for a while. The manager of the store spoke to The U.S. Sun about their visit.
“When they came, they didn’t ask for specific things, and they were talking about health and wellness,” the manager said. “Wendy did mention how she wanted to detox more herself.”
He continued, saying that it seemed like Wendy Williams wanted to learn more about the products before buying anything. The manager expects to see her return to the store in the near future so they can go “more in-depth” about the products. “This was kind of an icebreaker,” he said.
While she was discussing the various products, Wendy mentioned that she is dealing with “brain fog.” The former talk show host said she was looking for a supplement that would give her more mental clarity.
“She also said she is dealing with stress, because who’s not battling that, but she didn’t go into much more detail on that,” he said. Additionally, Wendy mentioned something about wanting to work on her circulation.
Wendy Was ‘Very Alert’ & Healthy Looking
The manager of African said it appeared that Wendy has been getting care elsewhere. However, she seems interested in other methods of treatment.
That said, Wendy Williams appeared “very alert” during her visit to the Newark store. “I expected her to be not as sharp- but I was very impressed,” the manager admitted. “But then there was a moment when she looked off while we were talking and I wasn’t sure if she was still with us, but other than that she was very alert.”
During their discussion about the various products the store carries, Wendy apparently asked questions and engaged in the conversation. She also revealed that she has been focusing on improving her diet recently and getting more greens in.
Before she left, the owner made sure Wendy left with a bag full of gifts, including skincare items, hair products, soaps, and shampoos. She was also gifted “general blood support herbs” and “sea moss.”

Kevin Jr. called the night before and informed the owner they would be in to visit. This was likely to ensure they had some privacy.
This is the first time Wendy Williams has been seen in public since May of 2023. She was placed in an undisclosed treatment facility after experiencing a medical emergency.
Earlier this year, Lifetime released a four-part docuseries called Where Is Wendy Williams? It documented Wendy’s struggles following the cancelation of her popular talk show, The Wendy Williams Show.
In the weeks and months following the release of the series, Wendy’s family and friends all claimed they didn’t know where she was. They have had to wait for phone calls from her and the number would always be blocked. Her family has had no way of contacting her.
It isn’t clear if Wendy Williams is out of the facility and free from her guardianship or if this was a special trip out and about. One thing is for certain though, she looked great!
