Why Isn’t A New Episode Of ‘Claim To Fame’ On Tonight?

Why isn’t a new episode of Claim to Fame on tonight, Wednesday, August 21st, 2024? It had already been preempted once in Season 3 so what is going on this evening? More so, when will the hit celebrity relative clue show be back on the air with a new episode? Keep reading for more details.

Why Isn’t A New Episode Of Claim To Fame On Tonight?

Last week on Claim to Fame, Mackenzie was able to trick the home into believing that she was related to Blake Shelton. The house was so convinced that her clue was a 6’6 country singer. Therefore, that had to be Blake and she played it off incredibly well as if they had solved the mystery. When Danny went up to guess, he was incredibly confident in who Mackenzie was related to but he was oh so wrong. A blur came up behind her and that meant she had scammed the home and Danny was going home.

First, his celebrity relative had to be revealed and it turned out, he was related to Marc Anthony. That is his uncle and moreover, Danny is not even his name. His actual name is Nael Daniel Zayas so that was a shock but the house had the clue he was related to Marc Anthony. However, they never used it but he was sent home anyway. They have only had one correct guess the whole season, so this is not going well at all. Even Adam’s clue has been a struggle for the housemates.

Unfortunately, more guessing will have to wait an extra week as Claim to Fame will not be airing due to the Democratic National Convention. It will begin at 9 pm/EST on many networks, one of them being ABC. Therefore, episode seven will have to wait until Wednesday, August 28th. What was supposed to happen was this:

“All four competitors head into the Guess Off for a coveted spot in the finale.”

Yes, the finale was going to air next week but either there will be a three-hour episode or it will be delayed a week.

What’s Next & Who’s Left?

So, who is left in Season 3 of Claim to Fame? Right now, there are Hud, Adam, Shane, and Mackenzie. Adam is being deemed the new Chris Osmond as he received so many wrong guesses last season. The same is happening with Adam this year and, as long as he is not a guesser, he could win this. It is also likely that no one will guess who Shane is related to because of his relative being such a legend but they are struggling with Adam and Hud’s relatives. So, if they cannot guess those two, how will they guess Shane’s? As for what is to come, the finale description is this:

“The final three compete in a supersized challenge as former contestants return to either help or sabotage during gameplay; this season’s winner is revealed.”
