Simone Biles Taking Part In Documentary Over Olympics Journey
Simone Biles is about to share more of her story revealed in an upcoming documentary. The Olympic athlete has documented her journey for the feature, and it will take many fans behind the scenes to see what the gold medalist had to do to achieve her dreams.
Here is what you need to know about the new documentary and where it will stream.
New Simone Biles Documentary Is Coming
Netflix has announced the release date for Simone Biles Rising: Part Two. To promote its release, the streaming giant and the Olympian decided to pay homage to another Netflix series. They quoted the romantic comedy series Emily in Paris.
“And ever since I moved to Paris, my life has been chaotic, dramatic, and complicated,” Simone said in the premiere announcement. This is a direct quote from Emily in Paris. She delivered the quote while sitting in front of the Eiffel Tower and sipping a drink. The image switched to her in a clothing store, and she delivered another line.
“Without basic bi**hes like me, you wouldn’t be fashionable,” Simone said. This quote also comes from Emily in Paris. In that quote, Emily meets a fashion designer named Pierre Cadault, whom she idolizes. When he points out a wristband she is wearing, he calls her a “basic bi**h,” and this is Emily’s response to him.
The video then moves to Simon sitting in front of a plate of crêpes. She then quotes another Emily in Paris line: “I’m not somebody who can share a crêpe. I need the whole crêpe.” This all ends with Simone eating a bite of an authentic Parisian croissant and exclaiming, “Oh, my God!”
