‘Bold & Beautiful’ Takes A Cringe-Worthy Turn, What’s Happening?
Bold & Beautiful writers have thrown several twists into the storyline recently. On Friday, there was a cringe-worthy moment that no one saw coming. Things have been intense when it comes to Luna (played by Lisa Yamada) pinpointing who her biological father is, but what she did next was odd, to say the least. So, what the heck is going on in Bold & Beautiful? Here’s what we know.
Did Luna Really Just Do That?
It was thought that Bill (Don Diamont) was Luna’s dad. Earlier this year, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) performed a DNA test on Bill that proved him to be the father. Then, Tom (Clint Howard) came out of the woodwork claiming to be Luna’s dad right before he was murdered. (By the way, we still don’t know who did that.)
Last week, Bill got a second DNA test done after Poppy (Romy Park) was arrested. It revealed that Bill is not actually Luna’s dad. That wasn’t even the big twist though.
Right before the soap went cut off for the weekend, Luna kissed Bill. Yes, she locked lips with the man she believed to be her father. Seeing the moment between the two was awkward and definitely cringe-worthy.
Now, the question on everyone’s mind is where are the Bold & Beautiful writers going with this storyline?
Next week, viewers will get to see how Bill reacts to Luna’s kiss. In all likelihood, there will probably be a “who is the daddy” storyline unfolding with Luna in the coming episodes.
Other Changes On Bold & Beautiful Have Fans Scratching Their Heads
Outside of the awkward daddy-daughter kiss at the end of Friday’s episode, there are several other storylines where viewers aren’t sure what’s going on.
Hope’s (Annika Noelle) personality seems to have changed almost overnight. Viewers will see her kiss with Finn (Tanner Novlan) be thrown out into the open next week. She will likely face the wrath of Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
While it’s not necessarily a storyline issue, viewers are also having a hard time getting used to the Taylor Hayes recast. Rebecca Budig has been cast in the role, but Bold & Beautiful fans think she looks way too young to be Steffy and Thomas’ (Matthew Atkinson) mom.
Many people agreed she would have been a better recast for another character. She is a great soap actress. She first appeared as Greenlee Smythe on All My Children, but all B&B viewers agree that she’s not right for the role they placed her in.
Whatever the case may be, between the recast and the crazy storylines, viewers are scratching their heads trying to figure out what’s going on with the writers on Bold & Beautiful.

I have decided to take a break from Bold & Beautiful! That was way out of wack with Luna . The whole Hope & Finn thing is NUTS…So for now I am done…I will read the spoiler until they get the writers sober 😜
I too am gonna take a break. The Stephanie/Finn/Hope is boring, same ladies just different man.
I’ve been watching this soap forever and they’re getting worse and worse. Stephanie makes me sick, Hope gone crazy, Finn a wimp letting Stephanie run all over him etc …
I can’t do Bold & the Beautiful. The Luna kiss made my stomach flip. Really twisted writing….women don’t do things like that. Any woman thinking of a daughter/father sexual contact would feel nauseated. Cringe worthy slop. You need to add sensitivity to your writing team.
I think they R going 2 make Luna have some mental health issues & that would explain her kissing Bill, & Y I think they might B making Luna the killer & setting her own mother up 4 murder, so she could have Bill 2 herself & the kids would let him know she’s available! I think she already knew Bill wasn’t her father & that Tom might have been her dad! So 2 prevent her self from loosing the life Bill offered her she killed Tom hoping it would look like an accidental over dose & when Hollis found the back pack with evidence that Tom might b her father she had 2 kill him as well so 2 prevent anyone else finding the back pack not knowing Sheila knew about the back pack! She then had 2 think quick & put the back pack in the apartment that was about 2 B demolished hoping 2 get rid of the evidence 4 good but then Katie started snooping around & asking questions Luna knew eventually Bill would ask 4 another DNA test & where Katie already suspected Poppy as the murderer she set up her own mom! knowing R.J. can’t keep a secret she told him about the back pack, the evidence inside, & questioning “Could my mom really have killed 2 people”, & of course she knew R.J. would run right 2 Katie & tell her everything, even though she asked him not 2 tell anyone & she knew Katie would run right 2 the police…..& the rest is history! That’s my theory!
this storyline is very disturbing and the lady that’s playing steffy mom should have been cast for the part of Quinn. this older man and younger woman is already being played by Donna and Eric. zende and Luna makes a great couple. RJ needs to go back to acting school.
I agree with you 💯 percent. All this is delusional, I think I’m gonna set this one out to. RJ is a wimp, he couldn’t hold cold water if he was a refrigerator.
