Is Lisa Vanderpump doing away with TomTom for good and why would she be doing that? She did move PUMP next door to the restaurant lounge and that made Tom Sandoval livid. Yet, she never mentioned completely getting rid of one to accommodate the other. So, where has this rumor come from and what would go in TomTom’s place? Keep reading for more details.

Lisa Vanderpump Doing Away With TomTom For Good?

TomTom became an idea in Season 5 of Vanderpump Rules when Lisa Vanderpump and her husband, Ken Todd were opening a new location. They then realized that they needed a hook and that was when Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz entered the picture. Ken and Lisa proposed the concept of TomTom at Schwartz’s wedding to Katie Maloney though he was extremely trepidatious. The following season, the two Toms were on board and they became 5% business partners. However, when the Toms wanted to open Schwartz & Sandy’s, they had exhausted all of their resources.

Lisa and Ken offered to give them each back their $50K investment to help fund their new establishment. They declined but then ‘Scandoval’ happened and put a serious damper on TomTom and Schwartz & Sandy’s. Patrons and staff have only said great things about Schwartz but allegedly cannot stand Sandoval. Eventually, LVP had to close PUMP due to the rent increase but moved it next to TomTom. Sandoval saw this and felt Lisa was making changes without his consent. Come Pride Month, she all but covered the TomTom sign with flags and now it seems she’s done with the eatery as a whole.

According to The Sun, SUR manager Peter Madrigal spoke up about what Lisa Vanderpump’s alleged plans are. He was a Vanderpump Rules cast member for ten seasons and appeared on The Sarah Fraser Show. Apparently, Peter was recently in TomTom and noticed the signs may have been overtaken by PUMP ones:

“I looked at it the other night and I don’t think the TomTom sign is on anymore. It’s something I noticed the other night. She’s rebranding it as Pump. When you walk into that building, formerly known as TomTom, there’s a gate and it says Pump above it.”

End Of An Era

Peter Madrigal was asked if he thinks Lisa Vanderpump is planning to do away with TomTom in favor of PUMP:

“Yeah, I think so.”

He was then asked if she had bought out her partners and Peter was pretty confident that had already happened. More so, the lounge is allegedly a “ghost town” per rumors circulating. Finally, Peter is ready for new faces on Vanderpump as he thinks it would breed authenticity. Now, nothing has been said about changing hands or closing doors. This may be a storyline for Season 12 which is still waiting to film. Time will tell if it is true or just a West Hollywood rumor.

Do you think Lisa would be smart to get rid of TomTom or is that a selfish move on her part? Let us know in the comments below.

  1. Lisa would be smart to rebrand it as Pump. Sandavol is the newest villain that everyone loves to hate, so I feel that from a business standpoint you gotta do what you gotta do. Hollywood is a cold fickle place. There isn’t always room for friendships within a successful business.

  2. Lisa & Ken have all the reasons to combine the two under Pump….TT has so much bad drama associated with their lifestyle choices and they only have 5% so they are truly not important… Business should be the Focus not their personal drama and legal woes!! if VR is going to continue then a place where film, crew and a cast can co-exist as well as make money is important!!! The current Toms are both old & their stories are tired!!! They should be dismissed for Film and maybe even just be Silent partners at this point!!!

  3. Lisa is an expert in business. I’m sure after reviewing all the footage may have opened her eyes more to Tom Sandavols true personality. Possibly though Tom may be going through a mid life crisis and come out of it. But Tom couldn’t see the big pic of his name and its impact on the business when poorly representing himself. And business is business.

  4. I’m sure Lisa has figured out that being associated with Sandavol is not good for business. It’s time to move on.
