Soap Vet Marcy Walker Disappears From Public Eye
Marcy Walker played soap heroine Eden Capwell on Santa Barbara from September 1984 until 1991. The NBC soap opera focused on the fictional wealthy Capwell family and their lives in Santa Barbara, California.
A Martinez joined the soap as Cruz Castillo one month before Marcy Walker and stayed until 1992. Cruz and Eden’s love story was a huge storyline on the soap, earning them the distinction of one of the most popular supercouples, along with Days Of Our Lives‘ Bo & Hope and General Hospital‘s Luke & Laura.
But before she was on Santa Barbara, Marcy Walker played Liza Colby on All My Children from 1981 until 1984. She reprised the role in 1995 after leaving Santa Barbara. The actress was last seen on AMC in 2005. She chose to retire from acting after leaving the ABC soap and has mostly stayed out of the public eye since then.

According to her IMDb bio, Marcy Walker moved to North Carolina after leaving All My Children to become a youth pastor. But she returned to Hollywood on Friday, August 2nd, for a huge event that brought past Santa Barbara cast members together.

Some of the other attendees included Louise Sorel (Augusta Lockridge and later Vivian on Days Of Our Lives), Vincent Irizarry (Dr. Scott Clark,) Lane Davies (Mason Capwell,) and General Hospital actress Nancy Lee Grahn (Julia Wainwright Capwell.)
Notably missing from the event was actress Robin Wright, who played Kelly Capwell until she hit it big with her role in The Princess Bride.
Sweet Moment Captured Between Marcy Walker & A Martinez
The Santa Barbara reunion was a huge hit with longtime soap fans. They flooded social media with photos and videos from the event. One Eden and Cruz super fan caught a sweet moment between Marcy Walker and A Martinez.
The soap stars were posing for photos together and when he tried to walk away, she pulled him back.
