Bachelornation.com shared some snippets of the feature article in the magazine. Demi Burnett shared the following life update two years after her surprising diagnosis:

“My life is now so much more wholesome and I’m protecting my own peace. I feel like I’m cooler than I’ve ever been and it’s not even on purpose this time!”

The former reality star also shared how she finds comfort when she’s feeling overwhelmed or overstimulated.

“The most important thing is always having a buddy who I can rely on. If I give them the look like ‘help me!’ they know to grab my arm, follow me, and help me get some space.”

Shares Advice For Dating

Earlier this year, Burnett candidly revealed that she has been celibate since she was diagnosed in 2022. But given her history in the Bachelor franchise, she knows a lot about dating. She extended hope and advice for other autistic people who are struggling with dating.

“There are people out there who are going to support you and understand you and love you. Don’t give up. There are brighter days ahead.”

It sounds as though finally getting a diagnosis helped Demi Burnett a lot. What do you think of her advice? Sound off in the comments.
