Jason Kelce Considering Return To Philadelphia Eagles
Jason Kelce is in talks to return to the Philadelphia Eagles. For many of his long-time fans, this might not be a surprise because he announced he was going to retire before only to return for another season. However, this time, he might be coming back in a very different role than before.
Here is what Jason Kelce is considering concerning his old NFL team.
Philadelphia Eagles Offers Jason Kelce New Role With Team
Jason Kelce retired from the NFL in February after playing 13 seasons. The Philadelphia Eagles drafted Kelce in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft and he played his entire career with the team. Over his career, he was a seven-time Pro Bowl selection and six-time first-team All-Pro as a center.
In 2017, Kelce played for an Eagles team that won Super Bowl LII. He considered retirement in 2022 but then signed a one-year deal to return in 2023. By the end of that season, after watching his brother Travis Kelce win another Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs, Jason retired.
Now, he is rumored to be returning in a new role.
Jason Kelce is already coming back to the NFL as part of Monday Night Countdown on ESPN. With that said, there is a push to bring him back to the Eagles as a scout. “I think Jason would be great at anything in football; I think he’d be a heck of an evaluator,” general manager Howie Roseman said. “I tried to recruit him to come work for me too because he can evaluate players.”
Head coach Nick Sirianni added that “Jason Kelce can have a space on anything he wants to do on this football team.
Jason Kelce & Travis Kelce Have Big Plans For Podcast
The NFL isn’t the only place that Jason Kelce has his mind set for business. He and his brother Travis Kelce have a podcast called New Heights, and they have big plans for the podcast. They also see a big money deal.
Jason Kelce… the COACH?
or Jason Kelce… the SCOUT??
It’s looking like a TUG OF WAR between the HC and GM on who can get him first 😅🔊@JasonKelce @Eagles @heykayadams #FlyEaglesFly pic.twitter.com/ye5ZMLAgPE

According to reports, the Kelce brothers have been in talks with Wondery about their podcast since wrapping up its second season. They are looking for a deal worth $100 million (via The Wall Street Journal). Not only that, but experts believe they will get that much money.
“The tie-in to Taylor [Swift] helped the show blow up,” a podcast expert said. New Heights won podcast of the year at the 2024 iHeartRadio Podcast Awards.
