‘Big Brother’ Matt Hardeman Reacts To Angela’s ‘Crazy Eyes’ Rant
Big Brother has already courted controversy before anyone could really get settled in. This happened thanks to Angela Murray, who made things very uncomfortable for everyone when she launched into a huge diatribe against housemate Matt Hardeman. After she began to call him “Crazy Eyes,” things went bad.
Matt ended up as the first person eliminated. He has now spoken out about the incident.
Matt Hardeman & The ‘Crazy Eyes’ Moment On Big Brother
Matt Hardeman was the first person booted from the house this season on Big Brother. However, before he left, he was part of an unforgettable moment for the season. Matt, 25, told Angela Murray he would target her if it came to eviction. This caused her to flip out on him.
Angela then called him out in front of half the house. She said he “aggressively” threatened her when he said he would vote to evict her. She then started going off on him and kept calling him “Crazy Eyes” as she got increasingly worked up.
Matt wasn’t one of Angela’s first options for eviction, but when Lisa won the power of veto competition, she chose him as a replacement. That is when Matt struck back with kindness, which clearly made Angela even angrier.
When Matt was making his case not to be evicted, he said that he “forgives” Angela, which was not what she wanted to hear.
Matt Hardeman Reponds To Angela’s Insults On Big Brother
Matt Hardeman did his exit interview just days after his Big Brother eviction, and he seemed calm but made his opinion known at the moment. As Matt said, it is not good form to insult a person’s appearance. He also hinted that Angela has a tint of racism in her comments.
“At the end of the day, I don’t think we should comment on people’s eyes that are of a certain ethnicity,” Matt said. His mother is from the Philippines, and he has some of her traits in his appearance. “My eyes are just brown. They’re not even that unique in my opinion,” he continued. “I’ve never had my eyes be a topic of discussion, ever, until now.”
Matt also said he was shocked when she went off. He said she came downstairs clapping and said they all knew she was struggling as HOH. Matt said that they all hoped she would loosen up and “have a better day as a human being.” However, she then lashed out at him.
“I’m like, ‘Does she have a writer? Is she, like, a rapper outside of this house?’ Because her disses were creative, Like, they were lyrical,” he said.
