‘Teen Mom’ Catelynn & Maci Fear The Worst For Amber Portwood
Teen Mom stars Catelynn Lowell and Maci Bookout fear the worst for Amber Portwood. Their husbands went on a guys’ trip with Amber’s ex, Gary Shirley. While on the trip, he spilled some tea about their daughter, Leah, and the relationship she has with Amber. More so, he shared Leah’s intentions when it came to moving on and away from her mother. Teen Mom Catelynn & Maci Fear The Worst For Amber Portwood
Amber Portwood has long struggled with her mental health. In this season of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, she took her new man, Gary Wayt to therapy with her. She explained that she had a manic episode when he was around and it did worry her that he would leave. However, Amber was trying to manage them while having a functional relationship. At the same time, her relationship with her teenage daughter, Leah was struggling immensely.
She claimed that she had reached out repeatedly but Leah did not respond. To that, her ex and Leah’s father, Gary Shirley told her that she had to keep trying no matter how many times she was shut down. While on the guys’ trip, Gary told the men that Leah was struggling and needed a constant female presence in her life. They all agreed that was his wife, Kristina and he shared that Leah wanted to be officially adopted by her.

Now, in a clip for the upcoming Thursday, July 25th episode, Catelynn Lowell and Maci Bookout are talking about this turn of events. Cate’s husband, Tyler Baltierra told her Gary shared the adoption news and now, she and Maci are worried for Amber Portwood. They do not know how she will handle this and feel like they are in the middle. More so, they question if they should tell her as they have been friends for years. However, Maci can understand what Gary is going through as she long struggled with her first baby daddy, Ryan Edwards.
Is It Up To Them?
Gary Shirley had not told Amber Portwood anything about the adoption as he was letting Leah think some more. This was a big decision and he wanted her to sit and simmer before they approached her mother with the news. So, should Catelynn Lowell and Maci Bookout say anything to Amber? - Maci and Caitlyn aren’t true friends to Amber because if they were they’d be telling her to get her sh*t together !
- It’s dumb that the Maci and Catelyn are only thinking about how it will effect amber but once did they think about Leah’s feelings. Also Gary is allowed to share with his friends what’s happening with his life. If the moms can share big things like that the dad’s can too
- Think about Leah, what’s best for her. Nobody else ❤️😢
Many wondered why Maci and Catelynn enabled Amber while also reminding them to think of Leah’s mental health as well. She is the one who matters above all and Gary is allowed to vent to his friends. Someone noted maybe Tyler Baltierra shouldn’t have run home and shared the gossip.
