Now that The Golden Bachelor has gone through the process of picking a wife that didn’t last, Gerry Turner shares his coping mechanism for being alone. While he and Theresa Nist hit it off during the show, just three months after marriage they called it quits. Recently, an episode of Celebrity Family Feud showed some of the cracks in the marriage before they announced their divorce to the world. Seemingly, now Theresa is finding ways to move on and Gerry shares what gets him through.

When the shocking news came out that The Golden Bachelor couple was splitting, it was hard to understand. During the inaugural season of the show, Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist seemingly were head over heels for each other. Likewise, they couldn’t wait to run down the aisle with their on-screen wedding in January 2024. However, it wasn’t meant to be. After three months, they couldn’t figure out the logistics of pulling their families together and opted to go their separate ways. Undeniably, it was a difficult time, but fans think Theresa has decided it is time to move on with a possible rebound relationship. She was spotted on the beach frolicking with a new silver fox. As well as enjoying dinner with a mystery man. But Gerry shares how he is learning to cope with being alone.

Undeniably, The Golden Bachelor, Gerry Turner, has taken the adventure of a lifetime by going through the process of selecting a wife on national TV. But he isn’t throwing in the towel just yet. While Theresa Nist is seemingly looking refreshed in her recent photos, Gerry is on his own journey. Furthermore, Gerry’s therapy appears to be the open road. He tells fans he is going on a self-proclaimed, “Nomad Granddad Tour.” Undoubtedly, it is a time for him to sightsee and take in new scenery while he sorts through the first half of 2024’s curves. After parting ways, he is enjoying some sweet solitude as he treks across the country.
On his Instagram page, he captions: “Every year, I take a completely unscripted vacation. I call it the ‘Nomad Granddad Tour‘. Today I headed west for day #1. I drove across Indiana & Illinois into Davenport, Iowa, my former hometown of 40 years.”
Day Two Adventures
Furthermore, Gerry Turner loves the pureness of taking in new landmarks. Likewise, he encourages The Golden Bachelor fans to join him on his journey through his updates on social media. He says, “The mighty Mississippi is always beautiful and the ice cream is always perfect. Check in tomorrow to see where the road takes me.” On Day Two, Gerry went through, “Iowa, Missouri, and half of Kansas.” Undeniably, feeling the trip free his soul, he recounts, “From the Bridges of Madison County to Pella to the Wizard of Oz Museum, it was a Heartland discovery day. Our beautiful nation on display. I will rest my head at the Best Western Plus in Pratt KS. Where will I be tomorrow? Check here.”

After giving The Golden Bachelor fans the rundown of how he plans to travel, Gerry Turner checks back in with updates on several locations, including New Mexico and Oklahoma. He continues, “The Nomad Granddad Tour rolls on.” Additionally, he says, “Today was a tribute to backroads and natural beauty. New Mexico is truly a Land of Enchantment. Driving to the Grand Canyon tomorrow.” Although some people can’t stand Gerry after his divorce, others are pleasantly enjoying his travels. Additionally, many fans are offering updates on what to do along the road.

While some of The Golden Bachelor fans became suspicious of Gerry Turner after his ex-girlfriend spoke up, others soured once he and Theresa Nist split. However, some fans are still enjoying seeing how he is doing even after the marriage ended.
