Former Love Island USA bombshell Daia McGhee is clearing the air over which Beckham brother she really wanted. When she showed up in Casa Amor, she had her sights set on Kordell Beckham. Daia McGhee came in knowing exactly what she wanted when entering Casa Amor. She was looking to steal Kordell Beckham’s heart on Love Island USA. Yet, he was still in a couple with Serena Page back at the Villa though they had their ups and downs. Serena only seemed to feel attraction toward Kordell when she put him in the friend zone. Then, when he would give her space, she wanted him back. Daia was able to show him all of the physical attention that he desperately wanted and needed which the men saw, as well.
While participating in a challenge sent in by viewers, it came out that Daia may only have been there for Kordell’s brother, Odell Beckham Jr. He is a pro football player and recently broke up with Kim Kardashian. Apparently, fans saw comments from Daia on Odell’s Instagram so they believed she was on the show for the wrong reasons. Yes, there were heart-eye emojis but she claimed on Aftersun they were Photoshopped. Now, she is further setting the record straight about which brother she wanted.

Daia appeared on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast and, once again, she shut down the rumors that she wanted to date Odell:
“If people literally looked at logic just for, like, two seconds here, do you really think I was going to make out and allegedly dry-hump Kordell to then turn around and be like at the Thanksgiving dinner when I’m sitting around with his family like, ‘Hey, OBJ, you wanna go in the room?’”
She tried to break down the logic of why she and OBJ would never work. Yet, do Love Island USA fans actually believe her? That is yet to be seen but Daia wants them to know it would be way too awkward for her to flirt with Kordell only to get with Odell.

After the Love Island USA episode aired when Odell Beckham Jr. was brought up, fans flocked to his Instagram. They wanted to see if there were comments from Daia McGhee and joked about it. In the end, Kordell Beckham chose Serena Page and Daia was sent home. Daia does have a story about liking anything OBJ posted:
“My excuse was, like, ‘I’m sure the only [photo] that I ever would have liked or commented with your brother in it was, like, my ex went to dinner with him. And I don’t think your brother posted it, I think my ex posted it and maybe I commented.’ They had three photos of him with this brother. They’re not friends, they just happened to be at dinner together. And there’s literally three images of them together on my Instagram Story if anyone wants to go look into my Highlights.”
Now that Kordell and Daia did not work out, maybe he will put in a good word for her with Odell. However, Daia’s celebrity crush is currently Kehlani.
