‘Bachelorette’ Rachel Lindsay Loses Big In Divorce From Bryan Abasolo
The judge in the Bachelorette divorce trial came down hard on Rachel Lindsay and threw the book at her. Keep reading to find out what the judge granted Bryan Abasolo in the tense split.
What Bachelorette Couple Were Fighting Over
In a surprise move, Bryan Abasolo filed for divorce from Rachel Lindsay in January 2024. They married in 2019, two years after meeting and falling in love on The Bachelorette. Just weeks before the shocking turn of events, Rachel was talking about their plans to adopt. But it wasn’t meant to be.
Rachel Lindsay claimed she was blindsided by the divorce filing and only found out when her ex texted before the news hit the media. It was one of the shocking allegations found in court documents surrounding the divorce proceedings. Along with filing for divorce, Bryan Abasolo also filed for emergency spousal support. He claimed his monthly income wasn’t enough to pay for the lavish lifestyle he’d become accustomed to. Rachel Lindsay’s lawyers hit back by accusing her ex of lying about his income.
Bryan Abasolo petitioned for over $15k in spousal support. Rachel Lindsay offered $10k. The matter finally went before a judge this week, and the former Bachelorette lost in a big way.
Judge Throws Book At Rachel Lindsay In Divorce Court
The judge didn’t grant Bryan Abasolo the full $16,275 monthly spousal support he requested, but it was pretty close. In Touch reports that Rachel Lindsay has been ordered to pay her estranged ex a hefty $13,257.00 per month. The court didn’t rule on whether she had to pay the retroactive amount for the months since Bryan had filed for divorce.
What Else Bryan Abasolo Got
The spousal support wasn’t Bryan Abasolo’s only win in the recent court appearance. He previously asked the judge to order his ex to pay for his lawyer fees. The judge ruled on that this week, too, and it wasn’t in Rachel Lindsay’s favor.
She was ordered to pay $15,000 for her ex’s legal fees, plus another $5,000 to cover his forensic expert expenses. The latest decisions are just another step in the lengthy divorce process. The former couple still has to work out splitting their assets, including the home they both still live in.
The judge’s rulings are huge losses for Rachel Lindsay. Do you think the judge was wrong to grant Bryan Abasolo such a large amount of spousal support? Sound off in the comments.

karma is a bitch. She got what she deserves. She was the cause of Chris Harrison to lose his hosting job on the bachelor\bachelorette show. I do not feel sorry for her. Instead I am saying hip hip hooray.
I agreed. I never liked her. He deserves better. He uprooted his chiropractic business for her.
That’s bs he’s got money he’s a Dr for goddsake and HE is the one that wanted the divorce she shouldn’t have to pay for his legal fees that’s so ridiculous
She’s always been a fame whore grabbing every moment in the spotlight that she possibly can. Even playing the race card when there was absolutely no evidence that she’s been wrongly treated. She never deserved a husband as decent as Brian. it’s time for her to wallow in self pity in silence, while she gets what she deserves. Boo hoo Rachel. You’re a has been. crawl back into your hole. Nobody cares🤣🤣🤣
