Kris Jenner Reveals Her Tumor Is ‘Growing’ As She Faces Surgery

In the most recent episode of The Kardashians, matriarch, Kris Jenner, goes through a rollercoaster of emotions as she faces surgery. However, she reveals that her unexpected tumor is growing and needs more aggressive treatment.

During the Thursday, July 11 episode of The Kardashians, Kris Jenner discusses the preparation for the tumor removal after revealing it was growing, leading to more serious actions. She admits that Khloe Kardashian has her on a strict health regimen, “Against her will.” In the pre-op examination with Dr. Boris Vaisman, Kris says, “I’ve made peace with the fact that this is happening.” But she admits in the confessional, “But I’m still a little nervous.” In the episode prior, Kris has told her family about the discovery of the ovarian tumor. At that time, Kim Kardashian suggests throwing a party to send off her ovaries in style. So in the most recent episode, they do just that after Kris goes through the preparations for surgery.

Kris Jenner Discusses The Tumor With Dr. Vaisman

Admittedly, Kris Jenner says that Dr. A said, “‘You look great, except for this,’“ referring to the health issue at hand. But Kris Jenner reveals information about the tumor to Dr. Vaisman, “And it’s growing.” Then, she adds explaining why she needs surgery, “So let’s just get rid of it.” However, in true Kris fashion, she says, “I was thinking, what else could I do?” as she jokes about getting more work done at the same time. Entertaining Kris’ question, Dr. Boris says, “Two birds with one stone?” Then, Kris continues, “I like to multitask at all times.” Jokingly, she says, “Anything I can do while I’m asleep, I’m going to do it.” Dr. Vaisman questions, “You sleep?” While they didn’t reveal if any other procedures would happen, Kris was cleared for surgery.

Kris Jenner Is Grieving Losing Her Ovaries

After seeing the doctor, Kris Jenner was grieving over letting go of her ovaries which have been a huge part of her story of motherhood. Kim Kardashian acknowledges, her mom is “pretty sad about having to lose her ovaries.” So she follows through with a proper send-off party. “I think we need to just make it into a positive moment and bring her something to cheer her up,” Kim says. Then, she coordinates a “Going Away” party for Kris’ ovaries to “celebrate the amazing work those ovaries have done.” Undeniably, Kris is proud to be the mom of her six children and is thankful her ovaries did such a wonderful job. In The Kardashians fashion, Kim and Khloe Kardashian show up with balloons and cake that say, “It’s not ovary yet,” giving a punny laugh for Kris.

Likewise, in a confessional, Kris Jenner admits, “I loved being pregnant. Love love loved being pregnant. And I do mourn not ever being able to be pregnant again. It was just this delicious time in my life where I felt like everything came to a halt. Life was beautiful. It was the best time of my life. The best years.”

Among Friends

After celebrating with her daughters, Kris Jenner takes a day to go shopping with her good friends, Kathy Hilton and Faye Resnick. Then, Kris shares she is having surgery, “It started out as just getting some ovaries removed,” she adds, “and then today I got a phone call.” Furthermore, she reveals, that Dr. A. delivered news that more aggressive measures were needed. Dr. A. said, “Listen, I really think the best thing for you is to remove the whole thing. Do the complete hysterectomy. And not give anything a chance to grow.”

Even so, she tries to relay the difficult news, “Here’s the thing. I did it, they found something, we’re here to fix it, and I’m going to do something and remove something that gave me six of the best parts of my whole life.” Her friends were very respectful and supportive. They reassure her it is the right thing for her to go through the full process and remove many of the risks. Additionally, they normalize the procedure by relating it to other people they know who have had success from having a full hysterectomy.

All The Feels

Furthermore, Kris Jenner discusses the difficult emotions she was feeling. In a confessional, she admits, “I think I’m very emotional about it.” She elaborates, “Because when you’re young you start talking about wanting a family.” Kris adds more in her confessional. Saying, “So here we are now talking about it again, and it’s the other side of the process. And it makes me very sad.”
