Luke Bryan Donates Millions For Home Town Project
Luke Bryan made a significant donation that greatly helped his community. To honor his contributions, Luke now has an entire hospital wing bearing his family name in Franklin, Tennessee.

Luke Bryan Gets Hospital Wing Named After Him
Luke Bryan and his family donated a significant amount of money to the Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tennessee. With the donation, his name adorns the entire wing of the hospital. It also means huge upgrades for the medical center itself.
Luke Bryan and the Brett Boyer family and Foundation donated money to build a new wing on the Williamson Medical Center. With the two families as the primary donors, the wing will now be called the Boyer-Bryan wing of the hospital. This isn’t just adding their name to a hospital wing, though. It is a whole new wing. Their donations have helped make significant improvements to the center.
The expansion added three floors, plus a new north wing encompassing all six floors for nearly 175,000 new square feet. There are 134 new patient beds and a 35-bed ICU for critical care needs. It also includes 94 medical-surgical inpatient rooms, 33 obstetrics rooms, 10 pediatric in-patient rooms, and more.
The donations also helped the center expand and update its Cardiac Center, which now includes two state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization labs and a brand-new electrophysiology lab.
More improvements are also to come from the donations. This includes expanding and renovating the Emergency Department, increasing it from 28 to 43 beds. Finally, there will be a third C-section operating room and a brand-new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with nine private bays. These are coming this fall.
Luke Bryan Explains His Donation
Luke Bryan explained why this donation was so important to him. He and his wife, Caroline, have supported the hospital for years, and both of their children were born there. The couple also served as co-chairs for the campaign to construct and renovate the hospital.

“Williamson Medical Center has played a significant role in our lives,” Bryan said in a statement (via Taste of Country). “Our children were born here, and we’ve been in the emergency room more times than we can count.” He said it was a “no-brainer” to make the donation, as they love the hospital and its staff. Bryan has supported the hospital for years, and this is his biggest opportunity to give back.
