‘Summer House’ Lindsay Hubbard Expecting 1st Child Amid Split
Lindsay Hubbard took to social media to share the news that she is expecting her first child less than a year after her breakup with Carl Radke. The Summer House star shared the news with her followers on the Fourth of July and fellow celebrities are gushing over the baby. Keep reading to see what Lindsay shared.
Fellow Bravo Stars Show Support For Lindsay Hubbard
“Trigger Warning: This post contains more fireworks than the 4th of July! WE’RE PREGNANT!!!!!,” Lindsay wrote on Instagram. “I truly believe the universe has a bigger plan and this is it! 💫The second I had a feeling, I took a @clearblue Early Digital Pregnancy Test and getting a clear result, in words, made the next steps sooo much easier. My boyfriend and I are beyond excited to welcome our little #HubbCub this Holiday season 2024!!”
Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix was one of the first people to comment on the post, congratulating Lindsay on the big news. Whitney Rose from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City wrote, “Screaming over here!!! Congrats momma!”
The Summer House star has been fairly private about her love life since her split from Carl Radke in August 2023. The pair were engaged to be married but called it off. Since then, not much has been known about Lindsay’s relationships.
She was admittedly “blindsided” when things were broken off three months before she was set to walk down the aisle. “He blew up my entire life. I was crying, I was angry, and I had to find closure on my own,” she told Us Weekly. “Now I’m at a place where I feel really good about moving on.”
Lindsay & Carl Never Saw Eye-To-Eye About Raising Kids
Lindsay Hubbard also opened up about freezing her eggs. In 2022, she suffered a miscarriage while dating Jason Cameron. The loss led Lindsay to freeze her eggs so that she could become a mom when she felt the time was right. During her relationship with Carl, she was candid about wanting children.
“If we have kids, I’m gonna want to stay at home and raise the kids,” she told Carl during an episode of Summer House. “I need to know that I have a partner [who] is doing anything to bring in any kind of money. I need that security.”
The revelation that Lindsay Hubbard wanted to be a stay-at-home mom came as a shock to Carl Radke at the time. “I honestly for the first time — I don’t think I ever really understood from her like she wants to be a stay-at-home mom,” he told Kyle Cooke.
Later, in an interview, he told cameras that he felt like her desire to be a stay-at-home mom put a lot of pressure on him.
Since Carl and Lindsay went their separate ways, both have been fairly quiet about their love life, but it is clear that Lindsay has since moved on. While she mentioned her boyfriend in the announcement post, it still isn’t known who that might be.
