Christina Applegate Calls Out ‘Love Island’ Cast For Being Gross

Christina Applegate Has Notes For Love Island Crew
The reality TV fan and famed actress took to social media to air some of her grievances about the latest season of Love Island. In her post, Christina Applegate wrote that she “adores” the show and has watched every season.
Her problem seems to be with the production staff and contestants. She continued, “I have a beef with production and contestants. Can you pls stop making weird sounds with your water bottles? like holding straw in mouth and chewing it and not sipping. Or girls with long nails making clicky clackety sounds.”
Christina’s complaints didn’t stop there. In a second post, she directed her comments at the cast, sharing some tips for personal hygiene. “White deodorant on the armpits in the heat is gross,” she wrote. “Now you all are very attractive people, please use clear deodorant!!! The white puss looking shit in the folds is not bueno. This is just me helping you be the best version of you. Haha.”
It seems that Christina Applegate wasn’t the only person at home with these thoughts. Other people took to the comment section on her post to agree. One person wrote, “I hate when it curdles. It reminds (me) of something too graphic to share. I legit can’t even type it.”
The actress replied to the commenter, “Well I will say it for you. Yeast infection. That’s all I see now.”
The Dead To Me Star Has Become A Reality TV Junkie
In the last couple of years, Christina Applegate has become a reality television junkie. Since her diagnosis with multiple sclerosis, she has enjoyed watching different reality TV shows from bed. In April, she opened up about her new addiction. She said, ““In the two years that I’ve been watching from my bed, I have watched probably, what? 300 hours of reality TV, I would imagine. Probably more.”
Because she’s a star herself, she has been able to befriend some of her favorite reality TV personalities. “I’m actually friends with some people now,” she revealed. “I have slipped into their DMs and become friends with Captain Lee [Rosbach], Kate Chastain, and Daisy [Kelliher].”
Christina actually turned down the opportunity to become a reality TV star herself. She was offered a spot on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills about 10 years ago, but she doesn’t regret her decision. The actress said she’d be “the worst housewife anyway.”
The new season of Love Island USA kicked off last month on Peacock. The contestants are in Fiji along with the show’s host Ariana Madix.
