Tammy Slaton Unrecognizable, Shocks With Updated Weight Loss, Pic
Tammy Slaton was enormous when TLC fans first met her on 1000-Lb Sisters but she shed a lot of weight. It’s doesn’t seem as if she had her skin surgery yet, but the weight loss is noticeable on her forehead, her neck, and in the region around her collar bone. A recent post by her friend shocked fans because she looks so thin where they can see her bones. Read on to see photos and a reel.
Tammy Slaton Nearly Died Before Getting Control
When TLC fans first watched 1000-Lb Sisters, they thought that Amy Slaton Halterman and her sister would never lose weight. As the seasons passed by, Amy did okay. However, incredible as it might seem now, her sister put on weight. Even Amy described it as if she was watching a suicide in slow motion. Later, Tammy admitted that she nearly died at least 8 times.
Tammy Slaton saved her life when she entered rehab and stuck it out. Even her doctor seemed faintly surprised that she had done so well. After losing more than 400 lbs, she looks totally different. Notably, her personality seems to have changed as well. Recently, a reel showed clearly how some of her bones are easily noticeable now.
1000-Lb Sisters Fans Shocked By Recent Video
After her weight loss in rehab, an influencer started hanging with Tammy and they went on a vacation with another friend. The same friends appeared in another TikTok reel and this week, it was shared on Instagram. In it, Tammy wore the black dress that she likes, which shows off her shoulders.
In her caption Haley Michelle, who few people trust as she wasn’t around when the 1000-Lb Sisters star was struggling, wrote:

I think she looks great. I am so proud of her progress. I pray that everyone around her continue to support her through all of her good and bad days and not just because of her name and popularity. She seems to be doing fine. Stay that way Ms. Tammy keep it going.

It’s amazing how far Tammy has come. I honestly didn’t think she would make it this far cause she seemed so set on not losing weight. However I think the doctor should have kept going and did the skin removal as part of her weight loss. I can’t imagine how much skin she is carrying around. She looks amazing though.
They don’t do the skin removal at the same because as they lose so much weight, they get more & more skin that will need to be removed. Another thing is, sometimes, they are in such poor health that the 1 surgery is all they can handle at one time. The skin removal.surgery is a long tedious surgery in itself.

It took a lot of guts for Tammy to keep going after her husband passed. I know because I lost the love of my life when I was 23. Tammy is so strong and everyone can learn from her strength. It’s obviously working for her. Tammy you are an inspiration and funny and an amazing soul. Never stop being you. xo
