When Will ‘Live With Kelly & Mark’ Return To Its Regular Schedule?
Live With Kelly & Mark fans have been waiting to hear when the show will pick up its daily programming again. The live show has been on a hiatus as Kelly and Mark are on vacation. Thankfully for fans, they’ve returned, but when will Live pick back up? Keep reading to find out.
Why Haven’t There Been New Episodes Of Live?
Generally, fans are upset when there aren’t new episodes of Live. They expect the show to live up to its name, airing live each weekday. However, over the last two weeks, viewers have watched several recycled interviews and re-runs in place of a new episode with Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos.
That being said, these mini breaks and vacations may be the only reason the show is still on. Kelly Ripa has recently admitted that she’s close to retirement and having a break from time to time helps her feel refreshed when she returns.
Kelly Ripa has been the face of Live since Regis Philbin left. She has had several other co-hosts, including Michael Strahan and Ryan Seacrest. Fans have seen several co-hosts come and go, but they aren’t ready to lose her to retirement (or even a vacation break, for that matter!).
Kelly Ripa and her husband Mark Consuelos are on yet another adventure. She has shared a few photos on Instagram of their latest travels. “We are in Switzerland, baby,” she captioned one post.
A number of people have taken to social media to ask the host when she will return. One fan asked Kelly in the comments on Instagram, “Are you LIVE Monday?”
Live With Kelly & Mark Returns, For Now
There is some good news though. Fans can rest assured that Live With Kelly & Mark will be back to its regular schedule this week. The 1iota website, which is where you can get tickets to be in the audience, shows that there is a taping available for July 1. It is expected that Kelly will share some of the details of their trip abroad during the new episode.
Over the years, people have expressed their dislike of when the show isn’t taped live. Seeing re-runs or pre-taped content isn’t what the viewers love about the daily talk show. Unfortunately, Live may be undergoing some changes in the near future.
The location of where the show is filmed is changing, which means there may be fewer live shows. One fan commented on the change in location on Instagram. They wrote, “All of the ABC talk shows need to move out of their buildings which were sold. I read this summer expect fewer live shows as Live, The View, and others move downtown to new studios with big fall premieres planned.”
